BIC SIM Launches “New Lifestyle Support” Campaigns, Including eSIM Initial Fee Discount Starting March 1st
BIC SIM, the low-cost SIM service from the Bic Camera Group, has initiated a range of campaigns designed to support customers embarking on new lifestyles. These promotions, effective from March 1, 2026, aim to make smartphone usage more affordable by combining various discounts and point rewards.
eSIM Initial Fee Discount Campaign
Starting March 1, 2026, BIC SIM is offering a 1,650 yen discount on the initial fee for “Voice eSIM” and “Data eSIM” applications made exclusively through the official website. This special offer is available until October 31, 2026, and applies to new subscriptions to the BIC SIM Giga Plan.
This discount reduces the standard initial fee of 3,300 yen (tax included) to 1,650 yen (tax included). Please note that a separate SIM profile issuance fee is required (Voice eSIM Type D: 433.4 yen, Voice eSIM Type A / Data eSIM: 220 yen).

Giga Plan Benefits for Online Applications
In conjunction with the eSIM discount, BIC SIM is offering comprehensive support for communication costs through combined promotions, including monthly fee discounts, data volume increases, and call option discounts. These benefits are available for new applications of the BIC SIM Giga Plan (Voice SIM or Voice eSIM).
Monthly Basic Fee Discount
For applications made between February 3, 2026, and March 31, 2026, customers can enjoy discounted monthly basic fees for up to six months. The discounted rates are:

5GB Plan: 500 yen per month

10GB Plan: 1,250 yen per month

15GB Plan: 700 yen per month
These rates are achieved by combining the “Capacity Up! Discount Up! Campaign” and the “Happy Price Campaign.”
Data Volume Increase
Customers who apply for Giga Plan Voice SIM or Voice eSIM with 15GB, 25GB, 35GB, 45GB, or 55GB data plans will receive an additional 10GB of data per month for up to six months. This data increase is also a result of combining the two aforementioned campaigns. If using the data share feature, data transfer to the share group is required via the data present function.

Call Option Discount
Simultaneous applications for Voice SIM or Voice eSIM and eligible call options will benefit from discounted monthly fees for up to three months. The following options will be offered at 0 yen per month:

Special Campaigns for In-store Applications
For customers applying at Bic Camera Group stores, special point reward and smartphone discount campaigns are available.
Bic Point Reward and Increase Campaign
Customers who switch to BIC SIM (MNP) at eligible Bic Camera Group stores and apply for a Giga Plan Voice SIM or Voice eSIM between February 3, 2026, and March 31, 2026, will receive a total of 13,000 Bic Points. This includes 10,000 points from the ongoing “Point Reward Campaign” (started December 1, 2025) and an additional 3,000 points from the “Point Increase Campaign.” These points can be used for purchases at Bic Camera stores or to pay BIC SIM’s monthly fees.

SIM-free iPhone/Android Discount Campaign
Customers who apply for a Giga Plan Voice SIM or Voice eSIM via MNP at Bic Camera Group stores and simultaneously purchase a SIM-free iPhone or Android device can receive a discount of up to 13,200 yen on the device price. This campaign has been running since December 1, 2025.
It is important to note that the Bic Point Reward and Increase Campaign cannot be combined with the SIM-free iPhone/Android Discount Campaign.
