About the iF Design Award
The iF Design Award, established in 1953, is an internationally renowned accolade, recognized as one of the world’s three major design awards alongside the “IDEA Award” and “Red Dot Design Award.” The iF logo is widely acknowledged as a symbol of excellent design. Each year, it attracts numerous entries from around the globe, with winning products selected for their outstanding design across nine disciplines: Product, Packaging, Communication, Service Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture, Professional Concept, UX (User Experience), and UI (User Interface).

1. Rechargeable Stick Cleaner MagiCaleena High Power Model (Cyclone: SCD-L4P-NH), (Paper pack: SBD-T3P-NH)
This high-power model in the MagiCaleena series maintains a lightweight design of approximately 1.1kg while achieving approximately double the suction power of conventional products (compared to SCD-L3P and SBD-T2P rechargeable stick cleaners) through the integration of a high-performance DC brushless motor and Iris Ohyama’s proprietary design. It features a “Kiwamade Head” with diagonally arranged bristles at both ends of the head’s underside, reducing gaps along walls and preventing missed debris. The head also incorporates a brush with four times the bristle volume compared to conventional products, making it less prone to hair tangles and easier to clean. Additionally, the electrostatic mop clean system allows users to clean dust from shelves simultaneously with floor cleaning. After use, the electrostatic mop can be inserted into the charging stand’s base to discharge static electricity, allowing the vacuum cleaner to suction the dust from the mop. The paper pack model includes 50 disposable dust bags, estimated to last approximately five years (one bag is pre-set in the main unit; actual usage may vary depending on the amount and type of debris, and usage environment).

These LED ceiling lights feature six types of carefully crafted design frames (Oak Brown, Silky White, Mortar Gray, Walnut, Natural, Charcoal Black) that enhance and blend into living spaces. The “Away Mode” allows for automatic daily on/off cycles while you are away, creating the appearance of someone being home (this feature is not intended to prevent burglary or theft, and the company is not responsible for any damage incurred). It also includes a “Power Saving Mode” that gradually dims the brightness over 30 minutes, contributing to energy savings without conscious effort. Furthermore, it offers a wide range of dimming and color tuning options to suit various scenes and preferences, along with high color rendering that naturally illuminates skin tones and food colors.
3. Circulator WOOZOO 360 barrel (PCF-CD15TECA-W)
This circulator achieves a warm aesthetic with its cylindrical shape, rounded edges, and matte, ceramic-like texture. When powered off, it stops in its cylindrical form, harmonizing with the interior of living rooms and bedrooms. With a maximum oscillation of 360 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically, it can thoroughly circulate air throughout the entire room. By precisely adjusting the angle and directing airflow from bottom to top, it can reduce laundry drying time by approximately 56% compared to natural drying under company-defined test conditions (effectiveness may vary depending on usage environment). It can be disassembled without tools, and the guard and blades are washable, making maintenance easy. Additionally, it is the first in Iris Ohyama’s circulator series to include a magnetic remote control, which can be stored on the left or right side of the main unit or on a magnetic board, helping to prevent loss.
