The ThinkStation P5 Gen 2 supports Intel® Xeon® 600 series processors with up to 48 cores and 96 threads. For graphics, it can be equipped with up to two latest-generation NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q GPUs. This configuration is designed to deliver significant performance for 3DCAD, rendering, video production, and future advanced GPU workloads.
Memory is expandable up to 1TB (DDR5-6400 RDIMM ECC), and the system supports high-speed PCIe Gen5 Performance storage. The workstation features an iconic 33L chassis design incorporating advanced thermal architecture to ensure stable operation under high loads. Its design also allows for easy, tool-less upgrades.
Flexible Expansion and Robust Reliability
The internal chassis offers flexible storage configurations, supporting up to three 3.5-inch HDDs and eight M.2 SSDs, totaling 11 storage slots for extensive data management. For expansion, the ThinkStation P5 Gen 2 includes two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, one PCIe 5.0 x8 slot, and three PCIe 4.0 x4 slots, accommodating a variety of expansion cards.
