Diverse Film Lineup for Wacom LCD Pen Tablets

The new lineup includes two types of paper-feel films—Premium Paper Type and Kent Paper Type—and a High-definition Film. Each film is designed not only to protect the screen from scratches and dirt but also to offer specific benefits to artists and designers.

All films feature anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint coatings, along with airless processing to prevent air bubbles. They are self-adhering, allowing for easy application and repositioning, and come pre-cut to fit the specific Wacom tablet models. Each package includes a dedicated spatula, a cleaning cloth, and a dust removal sticker for a smooth installation.

Paper-feel Film: Premium Paper Type

This film is engineered with a special surface texture design to replicate the feel of drawing on high-quality paper with a pencil. It prevents the pen tip from slipping too much, making it ideal for detailed illustrations. The film features a 3H pencil hardness hard coat finish, protecting the surface from scratches.

Paper-feel Film: Kent Paper Type

Similar to the Premium Paper Type, this film also uses a special surface texture design to emulate the experience of drawing on Kent paper with a pencil. A key advantage of the Kent Paper Type is its ability to reduce pen tip wear by 85% compared to Elecom’s conventional FLAPL series, extending the lifespan of touch pens. It also boasts a 3H pencil hardness hard coat finish for scratch resistance.

The High-definition Film utilizes nanotechnology for precise processing that suppresses light reflections and prevents the flickering characteristic of anti-reflection films, thereby improving screen visibility.
