MUSIN Co., Ltd. has announced the release of the “Crossover EC Zero T,” a new collaboration portable CD player developed by audio manufacturers SHANLING and MOONDROP. Reservations for this model began on February 13, 2026 (Friday), with sales commencing on February 20, 2026 (Friday). This product is a limited edition, with only 2000 units available worldwide.

A Fusion of Classical and Clear Sound with Special Tuning

The “Crossover EC Zero T” is designed to integrate SHANLING’s classical sound with MOONDROP’s clear mid-high frequency sound. This model features a special sound tuning, setting it apart as a distinct iteration of the EC Zero T.

Equipped with a dual operational amplifier “AD8397,” differing from the standard model, it offers a wide dynamic range and exceptional current output performance. The use of audio-grade dedicated capacitors significantly enhances power supply stability, resulting in clearer resolution in the mid-high frequencies.

Modern Design and Enhanced User Interface

The device’s chassis features a special modern gray color, an industrial front panel design, and a newly drawn illustration of MOONDROP’s official virtual character, “Suigetsu Yuki.” While maintaining a simple screen layout, it incorporates a new modern and sharp UI font. Additionally, users can now select from 10 UI color options, allowing for a personalized “Crossover” experience.

This new EC Zero T model, pursuing a unique collaboration experience, demonstrates uncompromising design alongside a sophisticated sound worthy of a flagship configuration.

Craftsmanship Quality for Stable Playback

The “Crossover” incorporates “magnetic adsorption parts” to secure the disc from both sides, a “customized servo system” specialized for precise CD reading, and a dedicated “customized motor” known for its wear resistance and excellent conductivity. This configuration ensures consistent disc reading performance and stability even during extended periods of continuous operation, providing a stress-free CD listening experience. The “Crossover” has passed rigorous tests to achieve these high-quality components.

SHANLING’s R2R DAC “Kunlun” and Dual Vacuum Tube System

The R2R DAC architecture “Kunlun” (Konron) offers a purer analog conversion compared to common ΔΣ DAC architectures, resulting in a more realistic sound reproduction. It also supports switching to “OS Mode” from the “PCM Filter” setting, which is expected to enhance transient characteristics for high-quality, upright sound.

This model features dual Raytheon “JAN6418” vacuum tubes. The “vacuum tube × R2R DAC” audio circuit provides the “Crossover” with a warm, mellow sound and pleasant audio reverberation. By toggling “Tube Mode” ON/OFF in the device settings, users can enjoy a rich range of sound tastes, from the warm and soft sound of vacuum tubes to the powerful, high-resolution sound of transistors, all from a single “Crossover” unit.

Collaboration Model Exclusive Items

The “Crossover” comes with special collaboration-exclusive items. The dedicated “shoulder carrying case” adopts the same deep gray color as the unit. It not only protects the product but also allows the “Crossover” to be used as a fashionable CD player in a shoulder style. Additionally, an “acrylic stand” for displaying the product and a “replica disc” featuring reversible illustrations of Suigetsu Yuki are included.
