Tesla Powerwall 3 Home Battery System to Launch in Japan
Tesla has announced the Japan launch of its next-generation home battery system, Powerwall 3, scheduled for release within 2026. This new model, which holds the No. 1 market share in the U.S. residential battery market, is a hybrid battery designed to enhance compatibility with solar power generation systems, while also being usable as a standalone unit. Powerwall 3 is expected to offer higher output and more advanced features.
Public Unveiling at SMART GRID EXPO
The Powerwall 3 will be publicly unveiled for the first time at the SMART ENERGY WEEK – Smart Grid Expo, taking place from March 17 to 19 at Tokyo Big Sight. Visitors can explore the Powerwall 3 and other Tesla Energy products at Booth E71-5 in East Hall 8.
Throughout the expo, the Tesla Energy team will host presentations titled “Energizing the Future: Enhancing VPP Value and Grid Harmony with Tesla Powerwall Evolution.” These presentations will be held at the Next-Generation Power System Seminar venue in East Hall 6-I on:
