Overview of Kawasaki Measurement Center Mishima Test Site

The Kawasaki Measurement Center Mishima Test Site is equipped with a 10-meter semi-anechoic chamber capable of handling EMC tests for various electronic and electrical devices. In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for large-scale facilities to conduct radiated emission measurements and immunity tests, driven by the growing size of products and the complexity of international standard requirements. By establishing the Mishima Test Site, TOYO EMC Engineering will offer testing services to a wider range of customers, particularly in the Tokai region, contributing to the development of local industries.

This facility will continue to be utilized for the evaluation and testing of Toshiba Tec products, while also operating as a third-party testing service provider by TOYO EMC Engineering.

To ensure the highest quality of service, TOYO EMC Engineering is registering the Mishima Test Site as an accredited site under ISO/IEC 17025, an international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. This ensures that the facility’s quality management system and technical capabilities provide internationally reliable testing services.

Future Contributions to Product Development

TOYO EMC Engineering intends to leverage its extensive knowledge and technical expertise in EMC testing and evaluation to provide high-quality testing services. This effort aims to help customers shorten product development schedules, facilitate smooth compliance with standards, and contribute to the realization of a safe and secure radio wave environment.
