ASUS JAPAN has expanded its ASUS TUF Gaming series with the introduction of two new models: the ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401EA and the ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401UM. These laptops are designed to deliver powerful performance for both gaming and productivity, incorporating the latest AMD Ryzen™ AI processors and advanced graphics capabilities.

ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401EA: Powering AI and Gaming

The ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401EA model is equipped with the AMD Ryzen™ AI MAX+ 392 processor, which boasts a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of up to 50 TOPS of AI performance, making it suitable for AI-intensive tasks and Copilot+ PC compliance. This processor is engineered to deliver high-end performance for demanding AAA games while also offering power efficiency for lighter tasks, adapting to various usage scenarios.

Complementing the powerful processor is 64GB of ultra-fast LPDDR5X-8000 memory. This unified memory system allows for flexible allocation between system memory (DRAM) and video memory (VRAM) via the ASUS Armoury Crate utility, enabling users to optimize performance for graphics-intensive games or multi-tasking productivity applications.

ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401UM: Versatile Gaming Performance

For users seeking a balance of gaming prowess and AI capabilities, the ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401UM features the AMD Ryzen™ 7 260 processor with an NPU delivering up to 16 TOPS of AI performance. This enables enhanced AI features for everyday tasks such as streaming, browsing, editing, and video chats.

Graphics are handled by the NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5060 Laptop GPU, which supports advanced AI features and is optimized for both casual and AAA game titles. The FA401UM is available in a new “Moonlight White” color, offering a stylish aesthetic that blends well with various environments.

Immersive Display and Advanced Cooling

Both ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401EA and FA401UM models feature a 14-inch, 2.5K (2560×1600) liquid crystal display with an 88% screen-to-body ratio, 16:10 aspect ratio, 165Hz refresh rate, and 3ms response time, providing a sharp and immersive visual experience. The 180-degree hinge allows for flexible viewing angles in any situation.

To maintain stable performance during intense use, these laptops incorporate advanced cooling systems. The FA401EA is equipped with a fan featuring 97 blades, each just 0.1mm thin, while the FA401UM uses an 89-blade fan. Both models utilize heatsinks with ultra-thin 0.1mm fins to efficiently dissipate heat.

Robust Durability and Enhanced Audio

The TUF Gaming A14 series meets the MIL-STD 810H military standard set by the U.S. Department of Defense, ensuring high durability against vibrations, impacts, and extreme temperatures. This robust construction provides peace of mind for daily use and portability.

Both models include a two-way AI noise-canceling feature that not only filters noise from microphone input but also from incoming audio, ensuring clear and intelligible voice communication. The AI system learns and improves over time, further enhancing sound quality. All models support Hi-Res audio output via the audio jack.
