Casio Unveils Stylish Calculators Adorned with Katsushika Hokusai’s Masterpieces

Casio Computer has announced the upcoming release of new stylish calculators, the JF-M200-TJ-KHK and JF-M200-TJ-KHG, which feature designs inspired by two of Katsushika Hokusai’s most famous ukiyo-e works: “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” and “Fine Wind, Clear Morning” (commonly known as Red Fuji). These limited-quantity models are scheduled for release on January 22.

The stylish calculator series, which has previously focused on refined designs and quality materials, continues to support daily life with products that emphasize user experience. The latest additions integrate the globally acclaimed art of Katsushika Hokusai’s “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji” into their design.

Utilizing the flat form factor of the stylish calculators, an inkjet printing technique has been applied across the entire surface, including the key tops, to fully capture the intricate details and charm of the ukiyo-e prints. To complement the Japanese aesthetic of the ukiyo-e, the key fonts have been updated to a Ming-style typeface, harmoniously blending modern functionality with traditional Japanese beauty.
