Enhanced Safety Features
Lithium iron phosphate batteries are characterized by their superior thermal stability. They have a thermal decomposition temperature of approximately 600-700°C, significantly higher than the 200°C of typical lithium-ion batteries. This makes them highly resistant to thermal runaway, reducing the risk of ignition or explosion.
Even under extreme conditions, such as penetration by a nail, these batteries are less prone to ignition, demonstrating their robust safety profile. It is important to note that while highly stable, users should still adhere to proper usage guidelines and avoid impacts.
Extended Lifespan
The mobile batteries offer a long cycle life of over 1,000 charge-discharge cycles. This means that even after 1,000 full charge-discharge cycles (from 100% to 0%), the internal battery capacity can still maintain over 80% of its initial capacity. This longevity is approximately double that of typical mobile batteries, which generally have a cycle life of around 500 cycles.
