Evolution of Display Technology
Hisense’s announcement at CES 2026 centered on display technology, highlighting the evolution of next-generation visual experiences with a human-centric approach. Hisense aims to enhance the quality of visual experiences across a wide range of scenarios, from home viewing to ultra-large screen theater use.
As the “originator of RGB MiniLED,” Hisense developed the new “RGB MiniLED evo” technology, which evolves the backlight structure itself, going beyond conventional spec improvements. This technology is an industry-first system-level advancement that introduces a fourth color LED, sky blue cyan, into the MiniLED backlight, in addition to the traditional red, green, and blue (RGB) backlight configuration. This fourth color LED complements areas that tend to be lacking in the natural light spectrum.
RGB MiniLED evo achieves advanced 134-bit color control and a wide color gamut exceeding 110% of BT.2020. It significantly enhances the reproduction of colors in the sky, water, and cyan-green regions, while also achieving high color accuracy of ΔE<1.0 through system-wide color calibration. Furthermore, optimized light source design reduces harmful blue light by up to approximately 80%, enabling natural and comfortable long-term viewing even on ultra-large screens.
Flagship Models and Home Cinema Experience
The “116UXS” is the flagship model to feature RGB MiniLED evo, clearly demonstrating Hisense’s direction for next-generation large-screen TVs that prioritize color fidelity, viewing comfort, and actual experience value, rather than merely pursuing performance numbers. It achieves an extreme visual expression and comfort for long-term viewing at a high level.

Additionally, the UR8 and UR9 series are positioned as Hisense’s core RGB MiniLED TV series. These lineups offer a full-fledged RGB MiniLED experience to more homes, featuring true RGB MiniLED and AI-driven video and scene optimization, available in a wide range of sizes from 55 to 100 inches.
For ultra-large home cinema applications, Hisense globally unveiled the “XR10” laser projector, which utilizes TriChroma laser technology, at CES 2026. With high brightness, rich color expression, and stable long-term performance, it enables impressive image projection up to 300 inches, delivering an immersive home theater experience.
Ultra-large screen TVs with RGB MiniLED and home cinema projection with TriChroma laser represent the two pillars of Hisense’s large-screen display strategy, covering everything from premium living room viewing to authentic cinematic experiences. These technologies and products embody CES 2026’s theme of “Innovating a Brighter Life” as a more natural, comfortable, and everyday visual experience.
Hisense Japan Co., Ltd. will continue to introduce and deploy the cutting-edge display technologies cultivated globally by Hisense headquarters, adapting them to the Japanese market environment and lifestyle, thereby providing new value in visual experiences to Japanese users.
