Key Features of the Remote Control Window Security Alarm
This new alarm addresses these concerns by offering straightforward installation. It incorporates two detection methods to quickly identify signs of intrusion:
-
Open Detection: Triggers when a window is opened, causing the main unit and magnet to separate.
-
Shock Detection: Activates upon detecting impact or breakage of the glass, such as a metal object striking the window.
Upon detection of an anomaly, the alarm emits a loud sound of approximately 85dB at a distance of 50cm (approximately 110dB at 3mm). This aims to deter intruders and alert those in the vicinity.

Furthermore, the included remote control allows users to activate the alarm remotely if they notice suspicious individuals or noises. It also enables the arming and disarming of the security mode from a distance. For windows that are frequently opened and closed, this feature provides convenient security management with a single button press. When the main unit’s slide switch is in “security mode,” pressing “security OFF” on the remote temporarily deactivates the mode for about 15 minutes, after which it automatically reactivates.
The alarm unit has a slim profile of approximately 8mm, ensuring it does not obstruct window operation. It is designed for installation on windows with a gap of 8.5mm or more between the glass and window frame. Additionally, a warning label is included for outdoor placement, which is expected to further deter potential intruders.

Installation is simple using double-sided tape, making it suitable for both first-time users of security measures and those looking to enhance existing systems.
