Key Enhancements Across the New ThinkPad Lineup

Enhanced Portability and Connectivity

The new ThinkPad series is optimized for hybrid work, featuring significantly lighter designs. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 Aura Edition and ThinkPad X13 Gen 7 boast configurations starting under 999g. The ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 achieves a weight of approximately 1.07kg, a reduction of about 170g from its predecessor, while the ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 starts at approximately 1.27kg, about 110g lighter. To support working from anywhere, all new products can be customized with integrated 5G or 4G LTE. Additionally, corporate customers can benefit from Lenovo ConnectIN, which provides up to five years of unlimited 5G/4G LTE connectivity.

Improved Usability

Regarding usability, ThinkPad X1 series, ThinkPad T series, and ThinkPad X13 Detachable Gen 1 models now include USB Type-C ports that allow power delivery from both sides of the chassis. The ThinkPad X1 series and T series also feature a newly designed keyboard that reduces typing noise and impact. Furthermore, a one-hand open mechanism has been implemented across the ThinkPad X1 series, ThinkPad X13, and the new ThinkPad T series.

Commitment to Maintainability

Upholding ThinkPad’s commitment to maintainability, the ThinkPad T series introduces a design where users can replace the USB Type-C ports themselves, contributing to reduced maintenance costs and downtime during the product’s operational life.

The new ThinkPad models are scheduled for sequential release starting April 7, 2026.

ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 Aura Edition: The AI Era Flagship Mobile

This flagship mobile notebook PC features a new space-frame design, allowing it to house an Intel Core Ultra X7 processor with integrated Intel Arc B390, a 14-inch large screen, and exceptional portability starting from approximately 977g. Users can also opt for a new 10-megapixel MIPI camera with an approximate 110-degree field of view, providing a high-quality video conferencing experience.

ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 Aura Edition: Premium 2-in-1 for Diverse Styles

This 14-inch premium 2-in-1 notebook PC features a 360-degree rotating hinge. With a refined 4-sided narrow bezel and a lightweight design starting from approximately 1.15kg, it offers flexible usage styles. A new built-in pen slot on the bottom of the device enhances the portability of the Active Pen.

ThinkPad T14s Gen 7: Enhanced Portability in a 14-inch Premium Mobile

Designed for portability, this 14-inch premium mobile notebook PC includes a high-density 58Wh battery as standard, while maintaining a lightweight design starting from approximately 1.07kg. It features USB Type-C ports on both sides for power delivery, and the left-side USB Type-C port and battery are user-replaceable. A new cooling mechanism reduces surface temperatures while delivering higher performance. The ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 will be available with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, AMD Ryzen PRO 400 Series processors, and Snapdragon X2 Elite / Snapdragon X2 Plus. A new Cosmic Blue color option is available for models with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors.

ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2: Balancing Creativity and Portability

This rotating multi-mode 2-in-1 features a large 14-inch panel. A new charging pen slot has been integrated into the side of the chassis for improved convenience. Adopting Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, it is announced as the first Copilot+ PC compatible model in the ThinkPad T series 2-in1 lineup.

ThinkPad T14 Gen 7: 14-inch Mobile Notebook PC Focused on Performance

This mobile notebook PC can be equipped with an Intel Core Ultra X7 processor. It combines a 14-inch large screen, rich expandability including an internal RJ-45 port, and a large capacity battery of up to 75Wh. AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400 Series processors and AMD Ryzen PRO 200 Series processors are also available. Models with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors also offer a new Cosmic Blue color option.

ThinkPad T16 Gen 5: Carrying a Large Screen

Despite featuring a 16-inch large screen, this notebook PC starts from approximately 1.63kg and supports integrated 5G/4G LTE. The ThinkPad T16 Gen 5 offers a wide range of choices, including Intel Core Ultra X7 processors, Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400 Series processors, and AMD Ryzen PRO 200 Series processors.

ThinkPad X13 Detachable Gen 1: New Series with Larger Screen

This detachable multi-mode 2-in-1 features a larger 13-inch panel compared to its predecessor and is equipped with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. Designed for business, its detachable folio keyboard includes a pen slot and a fingerprint sensor, and it features both a front camera and a rear-facing camera.
