Pilot 70: The Industry-First Flying Module for Robot Vacuums Redefining Cleaning

Robot vacuums have traditionally been limited to single-floor operation, presenting challenges for multi-story homes with stairs or elevated areas like balconies. To overcome these long-standing issues, MOVA previously introduced the MOVA ZEUS 60, a stair-climbing robot vacuum.

At this year’s CES, MOVA further advanced its offerings by announcing the “Pilot 70,” a flying module for robot vacuums. This innovation enables robot vacuums to not only ascend stairs but also move to separate indoor areas or distant locations such as balconies and verandas. This air-ground integrated cleaning system is considered a significant turning point, updating the conventional understanding of robot vacuums and advancing them to the next stage.

The “Pilot 70” allows a robot vacuum to be lifted into the air by a drone, facilitating movement between different floors or distant areas. Its flight stability is supported by MOVA’s core technology, featuring a commercial-grade drone power system with a 4-axis, 4-propeller brushless power unit designed for enhanced carrying capacity and stability during cleaning. Combined with low-drag propellers, it seamlessly powers cleaning modules for multi-story operations. The pod’s adaptive damping technology limits vibration during takeoff and landing to within 2mm, ensuring cleaning precision. Additionally, an integrated 6-directional obstacle avoidance sensor provides a flight accuracy of ±1.97 inches, enabling precise, collision-free operation even on complex staircases.

This product is recognized as the world’s first robot vacuum interchangeable module equipped with CloudLift™ technology in the household cleaning industry, based on internal research as of July 1, 2025.

MOVA ZEUS 60: The Stair-Climbing Robot Vacuum

The “MOVA ZEUS 60,” previously announced, features independently controlled climbing modules that lift the robot vacuum one step at a time for multi-floor movement. An X-shaped lifting frame automatically adjusts height to prevent tipping, allowing it to navigate steps up to 25cm high, including spiral staircases. High turning performance and grip reduce the risk of slipping or falling, while over 10 sensors collaborate to recognize stair structures and generate optimal routes in real-time.

MOVA MOBIUS 60: CES Innovation Award Winner for Zone-Customized Cleaning

The “MOVA MOBIUS 60,” MOVA’s first zone-customized cleaning robot vacuum, addresses the “one-size-fits-all” challenge with its MopSwap™ Hub for automatic mop pad exchange. This hub intelligently identifies various floor conditions, from heavy kitchen grease to delicate wooden surfaces, and automatically selects one of three mop pads suited for each floor.

For stubborn kitchen stains, the “Thermal-Hold Mop” uses thermal cleaning to dissolve and remove residue. For wooden or delicate floors, the “Cloud-Soft Mop” minimizes water residue and gently cleans crevices while preventing surface damage. The “Ultra-Clean Mop” excels in all-around cleaning, reaching corners and surfaces for comprehensive results.

This product received an Innovation Award at the “CES Innovation Awards®,” which recognizes new products and technologies outstanding in design, functionality, and engineering innovation.

MOVA brand first: Based on internal research as of January 9, 2026 (CES).
