Samsung Recognized as No.1 in Android Smartphone Sales at BCN AWARD 2026
Samsung Electronics Japan Co., Ltd. has been honored with the “Annual Sales Volume No.1” award in the Android Smartphone category at the ‘BCN AWARD 2026’, hosted by BCN Inc.
The BCN AWARD 2026 recognizes manufacturers that achieve the highest annual sales volume in specific product categories, based on the “BCN Ranking”. This ranking compiles actual sales data from 2,350 major consumer electronics retailers, PC specialty stores, and online shops across Japan, covering the period from January 1 to December 31, 2025.
The Samsung Galaxy smartphones, which secured the No.1 position in the Android Smartphone category at the BCN AWARD 2026, were highly praised for their diverse lineup. This includes the latest foldable AI phones, “Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7” and “Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7”, which combine design, camera, and AI technology to become Japan’s thinnest and lightest horizontally folding smartphones. Also contributing to the success were the “Samsung Galaxy S25 series”, a new dimension AI phone featuring an AI agent for the first time, and the “Samsung Galaxy A25 5G”, optimized for large-screen video viewing and social media.
