Exhibition Highlights: Addressing the EU Cyber Resilience Act

The exhibition will prominently feature and propose various System on Modules (SoMs) from Toradex, which significantly contribute to meeting the compliance requirements of the European Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), scheduled for full enforcement in 2027.

Toradex products are specifically engineered for industrial equipment demanding high reliability. They offer a rich hardware lineup of over 80 types, equipped with the latest Arm® processors. When combined with “Torizon,” a software platform that standardizes secure Over-The-Air (OTA) updates and long-term maintenance, developers can easily achieve CRA compliance for their products without the complexities of infrastructure building.

EU Cyber Resilience Act and Torizon

Toradex, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Switzerland, specializes in System on Module (SoM) manufacturing. The company provides ARM-based CPU modules, operating systems, development environments, and frameworks to deliver “ready-to-use computing solutions.” Utilizing Toradex products enables the development of high-quality, reliable products with reduced development time and costs.

Toradex products are currently widely adopted across various sectors, including industrial equipment, medical devices, automotive, aerospace, and robotics.

HK-5501J IoT Global SIM Next-Generation Radio

“HK-5501J” is an innovative communication terminal that resolves the “limited communication distance” issue of conventional radios (low-power transceivers and simple radios) by utilizing 4G LTE lines. It provides a smooth communication environment for all business scenes requiring wide-area communication, such as construction sites, logistics, event management, and security.

Traditional radios often face challenges like “loss of connection when far apart” or “interruption due to obstacles.” While IP radios offer wide-area communication, their initial and running costs can be prohibitive. The “HK-5501J” utilizes an IoT Global SIM to achieve stable communication across different carriers and outstanding cost performance.

IC Storage Cabinet

This cabinet detects UHF band RFID tags attached to each item inside, enabling constant monitoring of “when,” “who,” and “what” items are checked out and returned. It automatically recognizes check-out and return operations, allowing for easy item management without screen interaction. The cabinet space can be freely utilized, and multiple items can be checked out and returned simultaneously.
