ASUS Announces Launch Date for 16-inch Portable Monitor “ZenScreen MB16FC” with 16:10 Aspect Ratio and Bidirectional Power Delivery

The “ZenScreen MB16FC” adopts a 16:10 aspect ratio (1920×1200), which offers approximately 11% more vertical display area compared to conventional 16:9 monitors. This allows for more information to be displayed at once, such as additional rows in Excel, extended web pages, or more lines of programming code, significantly improving work efficiency on the go or at home. Its slim bezel design boasts an 84% screen-to-body ratio, providing an immersive experience within a compact form factor.

Smart Cabling with Bidirectional Pass-Through Power Delivery

The monitor is equipped with two USB Type-C ports on both sides, allowing for flexible connection based on device placement. A notable feature is its power pass-through capability. In addition to receiving power from a laptop, the monitor can also supply power back to the laptop when connected to an AC adapter or mobile battery. This enables a smart dual-monitor setup, even with devices that have a limited number of ports, allowing for charging while in use.

Versatile Placement for Any Location

The “ZenScreen MB16FC” features a foldable kickstand on the back, allowing for seamless angle adjustments from 0 to 90 degrees. Additionally, with the “DisplayWidget Center” application, compatible with Windows and macOS, the screen display can automatically rotate to match the monitor’s orientation. A 1/4-inch tripod screw hole is also included, providing the option to combine it with a commercially available tripod to position the sub-monitor at an optimal height.
