A New Monitor Concept to Upgrade Your Entire Desk Environment

With the establishment of remote work and long hours at desks, the comfort of the work environment directly impacts productivity. The ASUS VU Air Ionizer Monitor Series is a new concept product that combines ASUS’s high-quality eye care display technology with air purification capabilities using nano-ion technology. It provides a “two-in-one” solution that improves the air quality of the workspace directly from the monitor, eliminating the need for a separate air purifier, while also reducing eye strain.

Filter-Free Air Purification with Air Ionizer

The main feature of this series is the Air Ionizer built into the bottom of the display. It eliminates the need for filter replacement, which is common in conventional air purifiers.

While the monitor is in use, it continuously releases negative ions into the 1m³ space directly in front of it. These negative ions attach to airborne dust and PM2.5 particles, causing them to naturally fall and be removed. Tests by a third-party organization have demonstrated that three hours of use can reduce airborne dust by up to approximately 90%, allowing users to concentrate on their work in consistently clean air.

Uncompromising High-Standard Eye Care Performance

To minimize eye fatigue from prolonged screen viewing, all models are equipped with TÜV Rheinland certified “Low Blue Light” and “Flicker-Free” technologies as standard. Additionally, a “Rest Reminder” function encourages breaks after a certain period of use, actively and continuously supporting user eye health.

Three Models to Choose From Based on Usage

The series offers three models—23.8-inch, 27-inch, and 34-inch ultrawide—to suit various desk environments and uses.

23.8-inch / 27-inch models: Feature Full HD (1920×1080) IPS panels. They offer wide 178° viewing angles, a 100Hz refresh rate, and 1ms (MPRT) response time, enabling smooth and natural visual expression.
34-inch ultrawide model: A WQHD (3440×1440) resolution 21:9 ultrawide model with a 1500R curved panel. It provides an immersive experience with expansive workspace and supports USB Type-C connectivity, allowing power delivery to notebooks and video output with a single cable.

Sustainable Packaging Design with Environmental Consideration

Efforts to reduce environmental impact extend beyond the product itself to the packaging. The outer box is designed for reuse as a smartphone holder, desk organizer, or laptop stand, promoting eco-friendly practices. The outer box of the 34-inch model can also be used as a file holder.
