Dual-Lens for Cinematic Capture

Dual lens cinematic capture

The Osmo Pocket 4P is the first in the Osmo Pocket series to feature a dual-camera system. It incorporates a 1-inch CMOS sensor wide-angle camera with a 20mm equivalent focal length and a 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor mid-telephoto camera with a 60mm equivalent focal length. Users can seamlessly switch between focal lengths with a simple joystick operation, allowing for diverse compositions from close-ups to distant shots without needing to physically approach the subject. This capability supports easy capture of cinematic footage.

The wide-angle camera is equipped with a new LOFIC 1-inch CMOS sensor, providing a 17-stop dynamic range. This feature helps in recording vivid details in both bright and dark areas, suppressing overexposure and underexposure in scenes with high contrast or complex indoor/outdoor lighting conditions.

Advanced Imaging Capabilities

Support for 10-bit D-Log 2 allows the Osmo Pocket 4P to record over a billion colors, ensuring smooth tonal gradations. This enhances flexibility in post-production, making it easier to adjust details in light and shadow to achieve desired visual expressions.

The camera also boasts a 3-axis mechanical stabilization system, ActiveTrack 8.0 for precise subject tracking, and up to 8x Ultra HD slow-motion capture, enabling the creation of cinematic 4K videos effortlessly.

ActiveTrack 8.0 ensures smooth tracking of subjects even during telephoto shooting, keeping the subject centered in the frame even at 12x zoom.
