Digion to Showcase Cloud Recording and Multi-Device Viewing at Cable Tech Show 2026
Digion Corporation is set to participate in the Cable Tech Show 2026, taking place at the Tokyo International Forum from July 23 (Thursday) to July 24 (Friday), 2026. The company will feature its advanced applications “DiXiM Play” and “DiXiM U Cloud” at its booth, focusing on the evolution of TV program viewing and storage.

Digion will present two key solutions designed to enhance the modern viewing experience:
1. DiXiM Play Program Viewing App
“DiXiM Play” is a DTCP-IP compatible player application that allows users to watch programs received by their Set-Top Box (STB) or recorded content on smartphones, tablets, and PCs via Wi-Fi. This app addresses the growing trend of wall-mounted TVs and projectors, enabling viewing regardless of the STB’s physical location. Users can enjoy their favorite programs anytime, anywhere within their home network.
2. DiXiM U Cloud Recorded Program Cloud Storage Service
“DiXiM U Cloud” offers a service for saving TV programs recorded by home STBs or recorders directly to the cloud. Once saved, these programs can be accessed and viewed on various personal devices, including smartphones, tablets, PCs, and smart TVs in other rooms, in addition to the main TV. Storing programs in the cloud eliminates concerns about device failure and provides convenient access to desired content for recording and viewing.
At the Cable Tech Show exhibition, a reference demonstration of “cloud recording,” in which Digion participated, will be held at the Sumitomo Electric Industries booth [A-02]. Visitors will be able to witness a series of operations involving actual program recording to the cloud.
