Key Features of “Relay Switch 1”
Matter Certification for Major Smart Home Platforms
The “Relay Switch 1” supports Matter, a universal smart home standard. Connected equipment can be operated from Matter-compatible platforms such as Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings. Its Matter bridge function allows up to two compatible SwitchBot Bluetooth products to be added as Matter-enabled devices.
Matter integration requires a Matter controller for each platform. Necessary equipment and available functions vary depending on the platform and connected products.
For remote operation and automation with Apple Home, a HomePod or Apple TV configured as a home hub is required.
Bluetooth Relay for up to 10 SwitchBot Devices
Equipped with a Bluetooth relay function, the device can connect up to 10 compatible SwitchBot Bluetooth products, including Lock Pro, Curtain 3, Bot, Meter, Motion Sensor, and Contact Sensor, to the network. This enables remote control, status checks, and automation creation by linking multiple products.
A maximum of two products can be added to third-party platforms via Matter.
AC/DC Power and Dry Contact Support
The “Relay Switch 1” supports AC 100-240V and DC 12V/24-48V power input, as well as dry contact (voltage-free contact) output. This allows integration into a wide range of equipment beyond lighting, such as doorbells and garage door openers that utilize contact input.
The maximum output voltage for load circuits connected to O and I terminals is AC 240V or DC 30V, and the maximum output current for both AC and DC is 6A.
Compact Design and Overheat Protection
Measuring approximately 42×36×16mm and weighing about 27g, the unit is designed to be compact for installation in limited spaces, such as inside wall switches. It uses V-0 grade flame-retardant material and features an overheat protection function that automatically stops output if the internal temperature exceeds 100℃.
This product does not support overload protection or power measurement functions.
