Introducing “CookTalk” AI Service for Enhanced Cooking Support
The new “pro series” models are high-end HotCook appliances equipped with Sharp’s proprietary “Mazewaza Unit” for automatic stirring. A key highlight is the integration of “CookTalk,” a generative AI service previously well-received in Sharp’s “HEALSIO” water ovens. Users can interact with the AI assistant, named “Tsukumo Shiori” (affectionately known as “Shiori-chan”), via their smartphones to ask questions about meal suggestions, preparation steps, and appliance usage. The AI assistant can also provide guidance on adapting traditional stovetop recipes for the HotCook, making it convenient for hands-off cooking or preparing meals without direct flame during hot weather. Furthermore, by inputting desired ingredients, the system can generate and suggest recipes suitable for the appliance, though these generated recipes require manual setting of heating methods and times.
New “Motto Tray” for Efficient Two-Tier Cooking
Included with the new models is the newly developed “Motto Tray,” which supports simultaneous two-tier cooking. The tray features an opening ratio at its bottom that is approximately 1.5 times larger than previous models (such as the 2024 model KN-HW24H’s steaming tray), enabling more efficient steam delivery to the upper tier. The number of two-tier cooking menus has been expanded to 30, allowing users to cook a main dish on the upper tier while simultaneously preparing rice or soup on the lower tier. This functionality contributes to both time and energy savings.
Convenient Cooking of Frozen Ingredients
The new HotCook models also introduce a feature that allows users to cook pre-cut and frozen meat and vegetables directly from their frozen state. This capability supports 10 new stewing recipes, offering greater convenience for meal preparation.
