Garmin Launches “Women of Endurance” Campaign
Garmin has announced the launch of its “Women of Endurance” campaign, designed to support women who navigate diverse responsibilities such as work, family, childcare, and personal goals. The campaign emphasizes the concept of “endurance” not just in sports, but as an integral part of women’s daily lives.

Garmin aims to highlight the daily efforts of these women and provide support through data collected by its wearable watches. These devices visualize often-unnoticed physical states and energy levels, deepening self-understanding and fostering a healthier, more authentic daily life.
Depicting Women’s Daily Endeavors
To shed light on the efforts of women who lead busy yet purposeful lives, Garmin collaborated with Chouyi, a female artist based in Taiwan. Her vibrant and detailed works illustrate the daily routines of women balancing work, family, and personal aspirations. These illustrations convey the resilient strength women demonstrate as they manage various roles throughout the day and adapt to unexpected events.

Visualizing Daily Efforts with Data
In the midst of a busy daily life, it can be challenging to recognize one’s own physical condition or accumulated fatigue. Garmin watches utilize health science-based data to analyze heart rate variability (HRV), stress levels, and sleep quality. The “Body Battery” feature displays the current energy reserves as a numerical value from 5 to 100. This objective understanding of one’s condition can assist in daily self-maintenance, such as knowing when to rest or adjust activity levels.

Garmin proposes five approaches to support personalized health management through wearable data:
-
Comprehensive Sleep Tracking: Daily factors like work and family can impact sleep quality. Garmin’s sleep functions, powered by Firstbeat Analytics algorithms, analyze sleep quality and states during sleep to support better sleep habits.
-
Stress Trend Observation: Stress significantly affects physical and mental well-being. Garmin watches allow users to monitor stress levels and utilize guided breathing exercises (breathwork) to promote relaxation.
-
Recovery and Condition Tracking: HRV (Heart Rate Variability) is a key indicator for understanding recovery status and physical changes. Tracking daily trends can lead to a deeper understanding of one’s condition.
-
Observing Diet’s Impact: Garmin’s “Lifestyle Logging” feature allows users to see how factors like caffeine and alcohol affect sleep and stress levels, providing an opportunity to review daily habits.
-
Incorporating Active Rest: Appropriate rest is crucial for maintaining good health. By referring to Body Battery and sleep scores, individuals can find the optimal timing for their personal recovery.
SNS Campaign: “Smart Self-Maintenance”
As part of the “Women of Endurance” initiative, Garmin is launching an SNS campaign in Japan called “Smart Self-Maintenance.” This campaign invites all busy women to share their personal “smart self-maintenance tips.” Participants who post their self-care ideas, such as sleep strategies, exercise routines, or mood-boosting methods, will be entered into a lottery to win items that support a smart wellness lifestyle, including the latest Garmin smartwatch, Venu 4.
