An official watch inspired by Motoko Kusanagi’s full-body prosthetic cyborg from “Ghost in the Shell THE GHOST IN THE SHELL” has been released. This limited-edition mechanical watch aims to evoke the excitement of wearing a futuristic gadget, synchronizing with the digital sea.

Design Concept and Features

The watch features a blue dial ring that reflects the network world, illuminated by countless lights. The watch face incorporates intricate designs reminiscent of wiring, plugs, connectors, and bullet casings, all rendered with a metallic texture. Its skeleton specification reveals the internal mechanisms that mark time, enhancing the futuristic gadget aesthetic. The luminous hour and minute hands glow blue in the dark.

The design details include:

A blue dial ring symbolizing the digital sea.
Luminous hour and minute hands that glow blue.
Gray dot patterns representing the connectors of the prosthetic body.
A cool skeleton design that exposes the precise internal mechanisms.
Golden bullet casings, seemingly discharged from a submachine gun, arranged on the indexes.
Silver wiring and plugs, connected to the prosthetic body, appearing on the dial.
A three-fingered second hand designed to mimic Fuchikoma’s red arm.

Special Packaging and Accessories

The watch is delivered in a specially designed display case, inspired by Fuchikoma. The case back features a skeleton design with the “Ghost in the Shell THE GHOST IN THE SHELL” logo and an engraved edition number.

The vibrant red display case is designed with Fuchikoma’s main eye and compound sensors on the top surface, and three-fingered arms on the sides. It comes with a special commentary booklet adorned with an illustration of Motoko Kusanagi.
