LivAiA Unveils Two New Voice-Controlled Smart Home Appliances: “Zen” Ceiling Fan Light and Electric Lifting Indoor Clothes Dryer

New Product 1: “Zen” Series Voice-Controlled Ceiling Fan Light

Scheduled for release in January 2027, the “Zen” series incorporates the “Japandi” concept, blending Japanese traditional aesthetics with Nordic design. It aims to provide harmonious light and airflow for Japanese-style rooms and wooden interior spaces.

This series features a wood-grain lattice design and offers various functionalities, including upper lighting for indirect illumination, a night light, offline voice control, forward and reverse fan rotation, and multiple airflow adjustments. Two models will be available.

Future plans for the “Zen” series include a connectivity feature through its accompanying separate voice control remote. This will allow users to voice-control other LivAiA compatible products, such as disaster prevention LED bulbs, electric curtain robots, and LED strip lights, from a single remote. Furthermore, the direct-type ceiling fan light is expected to support radar-based human presence and temperature detection, enabling automatic control of lighting and airflow based on detection results. Demonstrations of the product’s design, airflow, lighting, and voice control will be provided at the exhibition venues.

New Product 2: DIY-Compatible, Voice-Controlled Electric Lifting Indoor Clothes Dryer with LED Lighting

Set for release in late October 2026, the “Voice-Controlled Electric Lifting Indoor Clothes Dryer with LED Lighting” (model: ESA-002) integrates indoor clothes drying, LED lighting, and voice control into a single ceiling-mounted unit. This product addresses the common issue of floor-standing clothes dryers occupying living space, especially when indoor drying is necessary due to weather or pollen.

1. Integrated Lighting and Clothes Drying
   The unit combines a 2,400lm LED light with an electric lifting drying pole. This allows for an indoor drying space in areas requiring lighting, such as washrooms, changing rooms, or living rooms, without using floor space. The drying pole is extendable from approximately 96 to 160 cm, accommodating varying laundry loads and room sizes. It has a maximum load capacity of 15kg and a recommended usage load of 8kg.

2. Designed for Japanese Residential Spaces
   Weighing approximately 3.8kg, the unit is compatible with common Japanese joist pitches (303mm/455mm). Under specific installation conditions, it can be installed without the need for ceiling opening or reinforcement work, as it is designed for direct fastening to ceiling joists. This design supports DIY installation by users, utilizing the included components. Connection parts for power from hook ceilings, bulb sockets, and outlets are planned to be included, along with accessories like a magnetic stud finder, wiring molds, and insulating tape.

   • Before installation, verify the ceiling structure, joist position and strength, and wiring fixtures. Reinforcement work or professional installation may be required depending on the installation environment.

3. Offline Voice Control (No Internet/Wi-Fi Required)
   The dryer supports voice control without requiring an internet connection or Wi-Fi. Users can control the pole’s ascent, stop, and descent, as well as the light’s on/off status, simply by voice. For example, users can lower the pole by saying “Dryer, lower” even when their hands are full. The product is also expected to include a function to stop operation if an obstacle is detected during ascent or descent. Live demonstrations of the lifting motion, lighting, and voice control will be held at the venues, presenting a new option for making daily indoor drying more convenient by utilizing ceiling space.

“LumoAir” Also on Display, Achieving ¥25.76 Million on Makuake

The “LumoAir” (model: CFL-S10) ceiling fan light, which features retractable blades, was previously offered for pre-order on the crowdfunding service “Makuake” from June 18 to August 16, 2026. It achieved a total support amount of 25,762,500 JPY, garnered 938 supporters, sold approximately 1,140 units, and reached 12,881% of its funding goal.

“LumoAir” integrates lighting, airflow, and air circulation. Its fan blades retract into the main unit when not in use and expand to approximately 109cm in diameter during operation. Equipped with a DC motor, it offers both quietness and powerful airflow. The unit is characterized by its slim design, which minimizes a sense of oppression when installed on the ceiling.

It also supports a separate, offline voice control remote that does not require an internet environment or Wi-Fi connection. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to experience the blade retraction/expansion and voice control of the lighting and fan. The LumoAir CFL-S10 comes with a reliable 5-year warranty.
