Pellucid Introduces Two New Mounting Types to its Qi2 Wireless Charging Magnetic Smartphone Holder Series (PH2642/PH2644)

Pellucid, a car accessories manufacturer established in 1975 and headquartered in Togo Town, Aichi Prefecture, will launch two new models, PH2642 and PH2644, in its Qi2-compatible wireless charging magnetic smartphone holder series. These new products will be available at car accessory stores nationwide from February 20, 2026, with advance sales already underway on e-commerce platforms.

This expansion introduces a long-arm suction cup type (PH2642) and a drink-in type (PH2644), bringing the total number of mounting variations to six. This allows users to select the optimal mounting method to suit their vehicle layout and usage scenarios, in addition to the previously available accessory socket, flexible arm suction cup, flexible arm adhesive, and air vent mounting types.

New Mounting Options

PH2642 Long Arm Suction Cup

This long-arm suction cup type allows for forward and backward extension to suit the user’s preferred position, requiring no screw fixation. It features a strong suction cup for secure attachment, and its adhesive power can be restored by washing with water. The design also enables low-down installation to avoid obstructing the driver’s view.

PH2644 Drink-in Type

The drink-in type features a telescopic arm that can be extended vertically to the desired height, also without the need for screw fixation. Its fixing block adjusts to fit various drink holder sizes, and the drink holder mounting stand can rotate 360 degrees after installation.

Qi2 Certified for Fast Charging

The series includes Qi2-certified wireless charging magnetic smartphone holders (Qi-ID 25548). These devices support high-speed charging up to 15W for iPhones.

Strong Magnetic Hold

The strong magnet ensures that smartphones are securely held. This precise alignment of the charging position prevents charging loss, maximizing charging efficiency. The holders support both vertical and horizontal placement of smartphones.

Overcharge Protection

Safety protection circuits are integrated to prevent overcharging of smartphones. These include overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, overheating protection, and foreign object detection. Additionally, a touch sensor allows users to switch wireless charging on and off.

Included Conversion Connector

A conversion connector (Type-C to Type-A) is included to match the USB port in the vehicle, allowing for flexible use in various in-car environments.
