OPPO and Google Cloud Advance Collaboration for Next-Gen AIOS
BEIJING, China – January 15, 2026 – OPPO has unveiled its vision for a next-generation AI Operating System (AIOS), marking a significant step in transforming smartphones from mere tools into intelligent daily assistants. Announced at the Google Cloud Export Summit in Beijing, this vision outlines a strategic roadmap developed in collaboration with Google Cloud.
The core of this initiative revolves around “Memory Symbiosis” and “Privacy Protection,” aiming to create a future where AI naturally integrates into users’ lives, offering enhanced convenience and advanced capabilities. Haonan Lu, Head of OPPO’s Large Language Model Algorithm, stated, “The essence of AI lies in understanding the user. Through our collaboration with Google Cloud, we are evolving OPPO AI into a truly personalized and capable partner. This means understanding users, anticipating their actions, and supporting them in powerful and intuitive ways.” He emphasized that AIOS must be more than a collection of features; it must become a trusted partner that genuinely understands individual needs.

Solving User Challenges with an Integrated AI Experience
Despite the increasing AI capabilities in mobile devices, users still encounter three fundamental challenges: remembering information, finding necessary information, and proactively receiving relevant information. OPPO addresses these issues with a next-generation AIOS built on an integrated memory foundation.
To effectively remember information, OPPO is introducing the global AI Mind Space, which functions as a system’s “second brain.” It organizes and stores information from text, images, and voice inputs. Integrated with Google Gemini, AI Mind Space aims to provide personalized responses based on records stored on OPPO devices.
For more precise information retrieval, OPPO is collaborating with Google Cloud to enhance AI Search with advanced natural language understanding. This allows users to seamlessly search for information across multiple applications using everyday language.
To anticipate user needs, AI Suggest combines real-time device usage with memory data to update user profiles, offering proactive suggestions at appropriate moments.
These three functionalities are interconnected through comprehensive privacy protection mechanisms and AI Mind Space’s memory management. AI Search leverages stored data for personalized searches, while AI Suggest delivers highly accurate recommendations based on user behavior and memory characteristics, all while ensuring data security and privacy.

Advancing Privacy and Fostering an Open Ecosystem in AIOS
As AI becomes integral to daily life, data privacy is paramount for user trust. OPPO has implemented a Private Computing Cloud (PCC) architecture to provide cloud computing capabilities while ensuring privacy. PCC serves as a secure foundation for extending AIOS, utilizing Google Cloud’s Confidential Computing within a globally distributed, end-to-end collaborative system. This approach enables data utilization while maintaining encryption.
Technology’s true value emerges through widespread adoption. OPPO’s AI strategy is built upon three concepts: New Computing, New Perception, and New Ecosystem, supported by three technical pillars: On-Device Computing, PersonaX Memory Symbiosis Engine, and Agent Matrix Framework. Through open collaboration, OPPO is promoting Agent-to-Agent interoperability across ecosystems. The collaboration with Google Cloud exemplifies this commitment, aiming to work with developers worldwide to break down app barriers and build a seamless intelligent service network adaptable to various scenarios.

OPPO and Google Cloud are jointly committed to building a privacy-centric infrastructure and fostering an open ecosystem based on user trust, with the goal of realizing a highly personalized AIOS.
