About the BabyTech® Awards 2025-26 Grand Prize
The BabyTech® Awards evaluate “BabyTech” products and services, which utilize ICT/IoT technology to support pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare, through a contest format. Following entries submitted late last year, a rigorous review was conducted by experts.
“Dream Switch” was highly praised for enriching the parent-child bedtime experience and resolving common “bedtime routine” challenges through technology. Its “gentle projection that is not overly clear” was also noted for its contribution to calming minds and establishing healthy sleep habits. These factors led to its selection for the Grand Prize in the “Health & Daily Care” category. Last year, the previous model received an “Excellence Award” in the same category. Establishing “Nightly Routines” for New Lifestyles from April

What is Dream Switch?
“Dream Switch” is a projector-type picture book that enhances parent-child bedtime moments. Since its launch in 2017, it has been embraced by many families as a “child-rearing savior” by easing the burden of reading aloud while allowing parents and children to share the same story while lying down. The latest model, “Dream Switch Basic Set,” is the series’ first full model change, achieving approximately 50% smaller size (compared to previous models), making it convenient to use anywhere from bedrooms to cars. The unit includes 36 built-in content titles, and by combining it with 12 separately sold dedicated software titles featuring popular characters such as Anpanman, Miffy, Sanrio Characters, The Bears’ School, Curious George, and Disney Characters, families can enjoy diverse “bedtime routines” and conversations like “Which one shall we choose today?” It incorporates features designed to encourage daily use, such as a stamp card function, healing music, stretches, and ending sequences that promote sleep, creating a “magical time just for the family” that brings satisfaction and peace of mind even in short periods.
