Xiaomi Enhances After-Sales Service and Brand Experience in Japan with Akihabara Service Center
Xiaomi Japan has announced the establishment of the “Xiaomi Service Center Akihabara Store,” scheduled to open on Saturday, February 28, 2026. This strategic move aims to significantly bolster the company’s after-sales service infrastructure within the Japanese market.

The new Akihabara facility will serve as a specialized hub for repair services, catering to Xiaomi smartphones, tablets, and wearable products. The center will be staffed by specially trained professionals, ensuring prompt and high-quality support. This initiative is designed to elevate the post-purchase experience for customers, thereby enhancing reliability and customer satisfaction in the Japanese market.
Integrating Service and Brand Experience
The Akihabara store is conceived as more than just a repair center. Its first floor will feature a dedicated space for product exhibitions and sales, allowing visitors to explore Xiaomi’s diverse product portfolio. Furthermore, the basement floor will house a showroom where customers can immerse themselves in Xiaomi’s vision of “smart living,” showcasing the entire product ecosystem.

By integrating after-sales service with a comprehensive product experience, Xiaomi Japan aims to create continuous touchpoints with its customers. This approach is expected to strengthen the company’s business foundation and drive sustainable growth in the Japanese market, complementing its ongoing efforts to provide innovative products and robust service support.
