Featured Monster Introduction
-
Arschbelt

A Flying Wyvern known as the “Chainblade Dragon” due to its chain-like wings. It possesses unique blade-like structures on its wings that can extend and retract to sweep away prey. These chainblades are also used to absorb elemental energy, which it converts into Dragon elemental energy to unleash.
-
Ajarakan

A Fanged Beast characterized by the developed carapace covering its back. It accumulates heat by attaching molten metal to its body and rubbing it repeatedly, leading to explosions. Also known as the “Crimson Ape Beast,” its high-temperature state is believed to be caused by the friction heat generated from rubbing the attached metal. The particularly hot shoulder carapace can even melt normal bullets, arrows, and the ground it touches.
-
Malzeno

An elegant Elder Dragon with striking silver scales, also known as the “Silverwing Dragon.” It preys on creatures under the cover of night, absorbing their life force. As it gathers enough life force, it transforms, revealing its ferocious true nature. Malzeno employs creatures called “Qurio” to drain life force from its prey. These Qurio carry a special virus that inflicts a debilitating ailment known as “Bloodblight” on bitten targets.
Otomon Introduction
-
Violet Mizutsune Rathian

A Deviant individual of Rathian whose tail harbors a venom even more potent than typical deadly poisons. It is revered and feared as the “Violet Mizutsune Princess” for its beautiful method of eliminating prey by scattering poisonous purple fumes. Where the Dragon Princess dances, the shadow of death descends, transforming the land into a barren wasteland devoid of life.
“Heaven-Shaking Elder Dragons” Appear, Possessing Immense Power to Change the Heavens!

“Heaven-Shaking Elder Dragons” are Elder Dragons with immense power capable of altering the very heavens, and they may appear suddenly under certain conditions. If their HP is reduced to a certain level, players can “repel” them even if their own life points reach zero. Repelling them does not yield experience or rewards, but the Elder Dragon’s HP will be reduced in subsequent encounters. Defeating a Heaven-Shaking Elder Dragon grants various benefits, such as enhanced battle member skills and improved “Rite of Revelation” effects in that area.
-
Heaven-Shaking Elder Dragon Neromielle

An Elder Dragon that manipulates vast quantities of water, enveloping its entire body in it. It also possesses a unique power generation organ, allowing it to unleash electric shocks into the water it discharges, causing massive explosions. Also known as the “Abyssal Dragon,” in addition to its water manipulation abilities, it can release electricity stored in its internal power generation organ from its limbs and wings. The intense heat generated during these discharges instantly turns water into steam, leading to violent steam explosions.
Rite of Channeling

“Rite of Channeling” is a secret Rider art that allows Otomon to awaken new abilities and skills by fusing their Kinship Genes. Similar to the “Rite of Revelation,” the “Rite of Channeling” can also be performed at camp.

In this installment, when selecting Kinship Genes, players can now choose from a list or “search from the field” if they do not have an Otomon with the desired Kinship Gene. Furthermore, Otomon and Kinship Genes are not lost through the “Rite of Channeling,” allowing players to freely experiment with various gene combinations.
Kinship Gene Bingo Bonus

Kinship Genes possess types (patterns) such as Power, Speed, and Technical, and attributes (colors) like Fire, Water, Thunder, Ice, Dragon, and Non-elemental. A Bingo Bonus is activated when three of these types or attributes align vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. This bonus increases the power of the aligned type or attribute. Additional ability bonuses are also granted based on the number of bingos achieved. In this game, the position of Kinship Genes can be freely swapped, making the process of carefully considering where and how to place each gene an enjoyable experience. This allows players to raise their Otomon with even greater affection and customization.

Two nations, Azural and Byurion, are on a path to ruin. Amidst this crisis, an egg is unearthed, from which a Rathalos, believed to be extinct, is born. What seemed like a glimmer of hope quickly plunges people from hope into despair. The twin Rathalos born were the same Azure-scaled twin dragons that were symbols of ill omen in the civil war 200 years prior.
