Aiphone to Launch New TV Doorphone “JY-11” Pursuing Simplicity
Aiphone Corporation (Headquarters: Nagoya, Japan; President: Tomio Suzuki) is set to release its new TV doorphone, “JY-11,” on July 10, 2026. This new model combines a simple design that seamlessly integrates into various living environments with enhanced convenience.
Design Harmonizing with Living Spaces
The monitor unit of the “JY-11” has been significantly reduced in vertical size compared to existing models, achieving a square shape and a balanced, compact footprint. This design ensures it harmonizes with other equipment installed nearby.
For the camera-equipped outdoor unit, attention to detail has been paid to minimize the presence of speaker holes and the night vision LED. This results in a simpler design that blends with exterior aesthetics.
Enhanced Security and Communication Features
The “JY-11” is equipped with a 3.5-inch monitor. For nighttime visitors, the night vision LED illuminates, allowing for color video confirmation, providing a sense of security.
An internal recording function automatically captures images of visitors when the call button is pressed, saving them to the monitor unit. This allows users to check who visited while they were away. Up to 30 still images can be saved, and manual recording is also possible. Please note that audio is not recorded.
The system also features a zoom function, allowing the image to be magnified approximately 1.5 times, with nine selectable enlargement positions.
Furthermore, the camera lens direction can be adjusted vertically, horizontally, or diagonally using a lever on the back of the camera-equipped outdoor unit, enabling easy setup of the optimal viewing angle.
In terms of communication, the “JY-11” adopts a simultaneous two-way communication system, moving away from the traditional automatic alternating talk method. This allows both parties to speak simultaneously without interruptions, ensuring smooth and comfortable conversations.
