Professional-Grade Cleaning for Your Home

Based on the “Ultrasonic Cleaner Nozzle (Standard)” model, which has been sold to cleaning professionals for over 200,000 yen since 2022, the new home-use model retains the same performance. By removing the battery and streamlining features, it is now offered at a price point accessible to individual users. This patented technology combines 28,000 ultrasonic vibrations per second with simultaneous suction (when connected to an existing cleaner) to thoroughly dislodge and clean allergens deep within fibers, as well as stain and odor sources.

This innovative cleaning experience utilizes ultrasonic vibrations to “tap out” and break down dirt without scrubbing, which can damage fabrics. The energy generated by ultrasonic waves in water is effective in removing stains and odors. This method is gentle on fabrics, making it suitable for cherished clothing, carpets, and car seats, delivering professional-quality results.

Patented Proprietary Technology

The “Ultrasonic Cleaner Nozzle” is a patented, innovative cleaner capable of simultaneous ultrasonic vibration and suction. It requires connection to a separate cleaner with a hose; the product functions as a nozzle attachment to achieve combined ultrasonic cleaning and suction.

DRY & WET Modes

Supporting both DRY and WET cleaning modes, the device is effective for removing allergens such as dust and mites in DRY mode, and for tackling stains and odors in WET mode. (The WET nozzle is sold separately).

Made in Japan Quality

Developed and produced domestically by automotive parts manufacturer ASTI, this product offers exceptional cleaning power and reliability, redefining conventional cleaner standards.

The Unprecedented Cleaning Process of Ultrasonics

  1. Tapping out deep-seated dirt: 28,000 ultrasonic vibrations per second dislodge dirt hidden deep within fabrics.

  2. Attracting stubborn grime: Stubborn hand grease is attracted and removed.

  3. Transferring dirt: Ultrasonic waves applied from above the fabric transfer dirt.

  4. Generating cavitation: The image illustrates the generation of cavitation (energy that breaks down dirt) by ultrasonic waves.

This technology resets “accumulated dirt” deep within fibers that vacuum cleaners alone cannot reach. Allergens embedded in sofas and car seats, pet accidents, and mud stains on uniforms, which often adhere stubbornly, are physically dislodged by 28,000 ultrasonic vibrations and simultaneously collected with water. This allows for maintaining professional-level cleanliness in large furniture and vehicle interiors that cannot be fully washed.

Thorough Removal of Allergens

28,000 ultrasonic vibrations per second dislodge allergens (mites, dust) hidden deep within carpets, rugs, sofas, and vehicle interiors. By connecting the cleaner nozzle to a household hose-equipped dry cleaner, allergens can be tapped out and simultaneously vacuumed away. An included attachment allows connection to commercially available hose-equipped cleaners, though compatibility may vary depending on the cleaner type and hose shape.

Efficient and Fabric-Friendly Cleaning

Wide Cleaning Area

Featuring a 60mm wide horn, the device allows for cleaning a large area in a single pass, significantly reducing cleaning time. This wide cleaning range is a key feature of the “Ultrasonic Cleaner Nozzle” compared to other ultrasonic products in the same price range.

Gentle on Fabrics

Unlike traditional brush-based cleaning that can damage fabrics, the “Ultrasonic Cleaner Nozzle” employs ultrasonic “tapping out” rather than scrubbing. This gentle action helps extend the life of valuable fabrics.

A test comparing the “Ultrasonic Cleaner Nozzle” with a “motor-head brush type nozzle” (simulated) after 10 passes showed less fuzzing with the ultrasonic cleaner, confirming its gentler approach to fabrics.

Understanding Cavitation for Deep Cleaning

When ultrasonic vibrations are applied to a liquid, cavitation (vacuum implosions) occurs, which breaks down and dissolves dirt and odors. Typically, oil and water do not mix, but ultrasonic waves cause emulsification (a milky white state). The Ultrasonic Cleaner Nozzle can induce this emulsification instantly. By connecting the nozzle to a wet cleaner that can suction liquids, dirt can be dissolved and suctioned simultaneously. If a wet cleaner is not available, dirt can be removed by transfer using an absorbent cloth like kitchen paper. Using alkaline ionized water or other cleaning solutions can enhance the effect. Replacing the DRY nozzle top with the WET nozzle (sold separately) can provide stronger suction.

Luminol reagent can be used to observe the light emission phenomenon of cavitation, indicating the presence of hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), which contributes to the chemical cleaning action. This light emission is confirmed across the entire tip of the Ultrasonic Cleaner Nozzle’s horn.

Effective Against Stubborn Stains and Odors

The product offers significant stain removal, even for those previously deemed impossible to eliminate. It can also eliminate foul odors from carpets and sofas that cannot be machine washed, such as those caused by pet accidents. Measurements with an odor meter confirmed the effectiveness of the “Ultrasonic Cleaner Nozzle” in reducing urine odors in pet-friendly hotels.

Diverse Home Applications

Pre-washing Clothes

Before machine washing, apply water (or alkaline ionized water depending on the dirt level) to heavily soiled areas of shirts, then gently glide the Ultrasonic Cleaner Nozzle’s horn over the area a few times. This dissolves adhering dirt, acting as an effective pre-wash and enhancing the whiteness after washing.

Smart Curtain Care

Curtains can be cleaned while still hanging. Spray water on the soiled area, place an absorbent cloth (such as kitchen paper) behind the curtain, and apply ultrasonic waves with the “Ultrasonic Cleaner Nozzle.” Repeat on the front with an absorbent cloth to transfer the dirt.

Next-Generation Bathroom Care

Remove soap scum by applying leftover bathwater to the affected area and gently gliding the “Ultrasonic Cleaner Nozzle” over it. Users should verify that it does not scratch tiles or bathtubs before use.

Precision Cleaning for Glasses

Submerge glasses in water and apply ultrasonic waves to remove dirt, achieving the function of an ultrasonic cleaning machine.

Product Overview

The “Ultrasonic Cleaner Nozzle” is a nozzle attachment designed to connect to existing dry (DRY) and wet (WET) cleaners. It is capable of intensively tapping out allergens that are difficult to remove with standard cleaners, and by spraying cleaning solution on soiled areas, it can remove stains and odors.

Development Background

The idea for this product emerged from ASTI Corporation’s commitment to customer success and continuous exploration of new business ideas. Leveraging the company’s experience in developing and mass-producing ultrasonic application products for industrial use, the team considered how this technology could be applied to other areas. The spark for the product came from a casual conversation about integrating ultrasonics into a cleaner. Despite the lack of similar products on the market, the potential for effectiveness inspired initial trials.

Overcoming Challenges

Transforming the idea into a tangible product required significant time and resources, making it challenging to balance with regular operations. To avoid the common pitfall of new projects fading due to being overwhelmed by other tasks, the team conducted market research at electronics retailers, consulted with related parts manufacturers, and sought technical advice from university research institutions, all while repeatedly experimenting. Even when effects were unclear, slight changes were observed and multiple perspectives were incorporated. During this process, the team discovered that applying an ultrasonic horn to a carpet previously cleaned with a motor-head cleaner caused unseen dust to emerge. This moment marked the first step toward product commercialization.
