Wake Up and Sleep with Your Favorite Voices

Morning: Set alarms using CDs, FM radio, USB memory, microSD cards, or built-in sounds. Users can also set the FM radio to automatically turn on at a specific time to catch their favorite programs.
Daytime: The device supports Bluetooth reception, enabling playback of music streaming, radio apps, and podcasts from smartphones through its stereo speakers. With a 5000mAh rechargeable battery and a carrying handle, the CD-CLR4J can be moved between the bedroom, living room, study, or even outdoors (in dry conditions).
Night: A sleep timer, adjustable from 10 to 90 minutes, automatically stops CD or FM radio playback after the set duration. For late-night listening without disturbing others, the device can transmit CD, FM radio, USB memory, or microSD card audio to compatible Bluetooth earphones or headphones.

Usability and Sound Quality

To enhance the listening experience, the CD-CLR4J features a transparent CD lid, allowing users to visually enjoy the spinning disc. It is equipped with 5W full-range stereo speaker units on both sides and a passive radiator to enhance bass response. The development focused on achieving clear vocal reproduction and rich sound, suitable for songs, radio talk, audiobooks, and language learning materials. For ease of use across various age groups, key operation buttons are labeled in Japanese.

Development Process

The product’s development began in January 2026 and spanned approximately five months, involving over 20 prototypes and numerous adjustments. Significant effort was dedicated to optimizing sound quality, operability, and feature set, particularly focusing on the clarity of voices in songs, radio discussions, readings, and language audio.
