Many homes have spaces such as kitchens, changing rooms, toilets, and workspaces where heat can be a concern, but installing a fixed air conditioner presents challenges due to construction, cost, or installation conditions. Bic Idea has consistently offered easy-to-introduce cooling appliances that do not require installation work to address these persistent indoor heat issues. This year, in addition to the continued offering of the spot air conditioner, a new portable room air conditioner has been developed to meet the demand for more robust cooling. These two models cater to both specific spot cooling needs and the desire to make an entire room more comfortable.
Product Features
1. No Installation Work Required, Ready to Use from Day One (Common to both models)
Both models eliminate the need for wall drilling or piping work. By utilizing a provided window panel, the exhaust duct can be attached, and the unit simply plugs into an outlet. This design reduces the burden of installation.
The products come with four window panels, allowing for installation in various window sizes. A single panel can accommodate windows up to 70.2cm, while using two or more panels allows for widths between approximately 91.2cm and 231.2cm.
2. 4-in-1 Functionality: Cooling, Heating, Dry, and Fan (Common to both models)
These units can be used year-round, adapting to different seasons and purposes. They offer cooling for summer, dehumidification for the rainy season, fan operation, and even heating for colder periods.
Both models include a convenient “sleep setting,” which dims the LED display and operates at a low fan speed. The unit automatically stops after 12 hours, making it suitable for use during sleep.
3. “Spot Air Conditioner” for Targeted Cooling
The Spot Air Conditioner is a fixed-speed model designed to cool specific hot areas. It offers a cooling capacity of 2.3kW (50Hz) / 2.6kW (60Hz), making it suitable for delivering focused cool air to places like kitchens, changing rooms, or workspaces when needed.
4. “Portable Room Air Conditioner” with Inverter Control
The Portable Room Air Conditioner is a newly developed model featuring inverter control. With a cooling capacity of 3.8kW, it regulates motor rotation speed based on the set temperature and ambient conditions. This higher output addresses the need to make an entire room more comfortable.
5. Remote Control Operation (Common to both models)
Both models include a remote control for convenient operation and setting changes from a distance. The remote for the Portable Room Air Conditioner features a backlit LCD, allowing for smooth operation even in dark environments like bedrooms.
