Hot Water Mode for Mellow Taste

This portable kettle features a dedicated “Hot Water Mode.” In this mode, after reaching boiling point, it continues to boil for an additional 10 minutes to reduce residual chlorine, resulting in a milder, more palatable hot water. Tests conducted using a residual chlorine measurement reagent, which changes to a pink color in the presence of chlorine, confirmed that hot water prepared with the 10-minute continuous boiling in Hot Water Mode had significantly reduced residual chlorine compared to tap water or water boiled only once.

6-Stage Temperature Control

The kettle offers 6-stage temperature control at 45℃, 60℃, 70℃, 80℃, 90℃, and 100℃. This allows users to prepare hot water at their preferred temperature for various purposes, including hot water, green tea, black tea, coffee, and baby formula.

Insulation and Reservation Timer Functions

After heating, the kettle automatically switches to an insulation mode, maintaining the temperature for up to approximately 8 hours. For 100℃ settings, users can choose between an insulation temperature of approximately 60℃ (Hot Water Mode) or approximately 90℃ (Normal Mode). The other five temperature settings maintain their respective temperatures. It is important to note that this is not a vacuum flask, and the insulation function operates only when connected to a power source. Additionally, the normal mode does not re-boil to prevent overheating of the unit.

The kettle also features a reservation timer function, allowing users to set a desired heating time from 1 to 24 hours in one-hour increments. This enables convenient preparation of hot water, for example, for a morning cup of hot water immediately after waking up.

Lightweight, Compact, and Safe Design

Weighing approximately 450g, the kettle boasts a lightweight and compact design, making it easy to carry around like a personal water bottle. Its rotary cap allows for quick visual confirmation of its open or closed state, helping to prevent accidental leaks while on the go.

The internal parts that come into direct contact with water are made from materials compliant with the Food Sanitation Act, ensuring hygienic use even for preparing baby formula. Furthermore, the product is compliant with the Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Act (PSE) and has undergone Elecom’s own safety tests, confirming its high safety standards for everyday use.
