Comprehensive Partnership Agreement Details
As part of this agreement, Haier Japan Sales has donated the “MIZUKI” suction floor cleaner (JC-M1A) and the “MIZUKI nu-no” hot water steam fabric washer (JC-RPS1A) to Sukumo City. These appliances are intended for use in local facilities, contributing to reduced workload for staff, improved environmental hygiene management, and enhanced efficiency in cleaning operations.
Furthermore, 120L refrigerator-freezers (JR-12A), 87L refrigerator-freezers (JR-9A), and 5.0kg fully automatic washing machines (JW-U50C) have been donated to school facilities operating after-school children’s classes. This initiative aims to improve storage environments for food and supplies, establish laundry facilities for clothing and equipment, thereby supporting the efficiency and convenience of facility operations, and contributing to the creation of a safe educational environment where children can feel secure.
Future plans for the partnership include engaging in product development that incorporates feedback from on-site personnel through practical demonstrations of home appliances in facilities such as nurseries.

“MIZUKI” Suction Floor Cleaner (JC-M1A)
The “MIZUKI” (JC-M1A) suction floor cleaner was developed to address user demands for easier cleaning of sticky or gritty floors, oil stains, and pollen, and to alleviate the physical strain associated with traditional mopping. This stick cleaner features “Multi-Powerful Suction,” which simultaneously vacuums, mops, and dries surfaces. It was developed in collaboration with Ms. Haruko Niitsu, a cleaning professional known for her contributions to Haneda Airport, recognized as “the world’s cleanest airport.” The product effectively cleans fine dust that conventional vacuum cleaners might miss and removes stubborn dirt that dry wiping cannot. The “MIZUKI” has received high acclaim from the market, including the “16th Parenting Award” in the Mono/Service category.
“MIZUKI nu-no” Hot Water Steam Fabric Washer (JC-RPS1A)
The “MIZUKI nu-no” is the second product in the “MIZUKI” series, designed to clean unwashable fabric items with water, based on the concept “Let’s wash more fabrics.” This innovative rinse cleaner makes it easy and accessible to clean items like sofas, car seats, carpets, and strollers that are typically difficult to wash due to their size or immobility. The product works by spraying water from a nozzle onto the fabric to lift embedded dirt. A brush then agitates the dirt, which is subsequently suctioned away with a powerful force of up to 15,000Pa, ensuring thorough cleaning from the surface to the fibers of the fabric. The hot water steam model (JC-RPS1A) includes a “60℃ Hot Water Mode” for removing oil-soluble stains that are difficult to clean with cold water, and a “Steam Mode” that heats water to 100℃ to emit high-temperature steam. This steam mode reportedly deodorizes odors such as tobacco, food, and pet urine by approximately 99%1 and demonstrates approximately 99% dust mite killing efficacy2.
120L Refrigerator-Freezer (JR-12A) and 87L Refrigerator-Freezer (JR-9A)
The 120L (JR-12A) and 87L (JR-9A) refrigerator-freezers feature a slim body (45.2cm width), prioritizing space-saving installation and ease of use. Their simple design allows them to blend seamlessly into various spaces. The 120L model (JR-12A) boasts a spacious 91L refrigerator compartment, accounting for approximately three-quarters of its total capacity, enabling ample storage of food and beverages. It also includes “Height-Adjustable Trays” for efficient storage of items like 500ml cans and larger food containers.
The 87L model (JR-9A) features a low design, approximately 85cm in height, allowing it to be placed without creating a sense of oppression in the room. Both products are equipped with a “Heat-Resistant Top Plate3” suitable for placing a microwave oven, a “Sukkiri Pocket4” that can store three 2L PET bottles, an easy-to-organize “Free Case” for visibility of contents, a highly visible “LED Interior Light,” and easy-to-clean “Reinforced Glass Trays.” These products also prioritize environmental performance and user-friendliness, achieving energy efficiency standards and featuring a quiet design.
5.0kg Fully Automatic Washing Machine (JW-U50C)
The 5.0kg fully automatic washing machine (JW-U50C) was developed to meet the needs of single-person or small households seeking a compact yet functional washing machine. As a new addition to the U series, this model offers a suitable size for limited spaces and sufficient functionality for daily use. It features a variety of washing courses, including a “Quick” course that completes washing and spin-drying in as little as 10 minutes, a “Sterilization” course5 to suppress odors from indoor drying, and a “Whiteness Pursuit” course that uses double the normal amount of detergent for thorough cleaning. It also includes a “Fragrance Up” course to enhance the scent of fabric softener, allowing users to choose courses based on their lifestyle and laundry needs. Additionally, it ensures cleaning power through high-concentration spiral washing while also being water-efficient. The JW-U50C combines convenience and cleanliness in a compact design, efficiently supporting daily laundry tasks.
