Automatic Airflow Adjustment and Avoidance (MX Series)

Both the MX and CS series continue to feature functions like “Area Specific Airflow,” which directs air in 8 steps vertically and horizontally, ensuring comfortable air distribution throughout the room.

“Odor Suppression” and “Humidity Keep” Functions

To prevent unpleasant odors at the start of cooling operation, an “Odor Suppression” function is included. For approximately one minute after startup, the fan pauses to moisten the heat exchanger, suppressing odors from within the indoor unit.

Additionally, the “Humidity Keep” function controls the fan even after the set temperature is reached and operation stabilizes. This prevents moisture attached to the heat exchanger from returning to the room, maintaining a comfortable air environment from startup to stable operation.

“W-Freeze Cleaning” for Indoor and Outdoor Units

The unique “W-Freeze Cleaning” system maintains the cleanliness of the heat exchangers in both the indoor and outdoor units, which are typically difficult to clean manually. It freezes accumulated grease and dust to -18℃, then rapidly thaws them with water to wash away dirt. The cleaning process concludes with heating the heat exchanger to 56℃ for thorough drying, preventing mold growth and supporting energy saving by avoiding unnecessary power consumption due to dirty heat exchangers.

“Automatic Filter Cleaning” with Antibacterial Filter (MX Series)

The “Automatic Filter Cleaning” function activates automatically for about 8 minutes after every 24 hours of operation. Two drums alternately wind the filter, and a dedicated brush scrapes off dust, collecting it in a removable dust box. This keeps the filter clean, preventing a drop in cooling and heating efficiency due to clogging, and suppressing unnecessary power consumption.

An “Antibacterial Filter” is also adopted, with an antibacterial agent blended into the filter material, inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and E. coli by over 99%. For the 2026 models, a new feature notifies users when the dust box needs cleaning via a blinking lamp.

Furthermore, the “Plasma Air Purification” function uses ions to purify the air, demonstrating effectiveness in inhibiting 98% of Staphylococcus epidermidis, 99% of Aspergillus niger, 99% of PM2.5, 98% of birch allergens, and 99% of influenza A (H1N1) virus.

Smart Speaker Integration and “Haismart App” Support (MX Series)

With built-in wireless LAN, the MX series supports remote control via smart speakers and the dedicated “Haismart App.” Voice control allows for smooth air conditioner operation even during busy moments. Remote control from a smartphone while outside enables users to adjust room temperature according to their lifestyle, such as starting the air conditioner before returning home.

The app’s “Good Night Curve” function also supports comfortable sleep tailored to individual physical conditions and lifestyles.
