U-Trade is set to launch “VK-ASPEN,” a next-generation earphone, with pre-sales commencing on the crowdfunding site “Makuake” from 11:00 AM on April 15, 2026. This product is designed for continuous wear, offering comfort for daily use and even during sleep, thanks to its ultra-lightweight design of approximately 3g per earbud.
Addressing the Challenges of Extended Earphone Use
In recent years, the proliferation of video streaming services and audio content has led to an increase in earphone usage time. However, this trend has also brought forth challenges such as ear strain from prolonged wear and the inability to use earphones comfortably during sleep.
VK-ASPEN redefines the conventional approach to earphones, shifting from the assumption of “removing them” to the concept of “continuous comfortable wear,” specifically addressing these modern challenges.
Lightweight Design and Enhanced Wearability
The VK-ASPEN features an ultra-lightweight design, weighing approximately 3g per earbud, combined with an ergonomic shape. This design minimizes pressure on the ear, providing a comfortable fit for extended periods. This allows for comfortable use not only during long hours of music listening or calls in daily life but also with minimal discomfort during sleep.
