Komine Musen Denki Exhibits New Helical Antenna GNSS Unit for Drones
Komine Musen Denki Co., Ltd. (Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President: Kenta Kato) is set to participate in “Japan Drone 2026 / Next-Generation Air Mobility EXPO 2026,” which will be held from June 3 (Wednesday), 2026. The company will reference exhibit its newly developed GNSS unit, “RJHelical-01,” which integrates a helical antenna and a receiver chip.

The “RJ Series” consists of GNSS units with an integrated receiver chip and antenna. These units can be easily connected to a PC via a supplied USB cable, allowing data to be viewed with various applications. The existing product lineup includes “RJF9P2,” which supports L1 and L2 frequencies, and “RJFD9P-L6” and “RJCLAS-L6,” which are 3-frequency compatible, including L6. The ability to receive L6 is expected to enable highly precise positioning even in environments where RTK positioning is challenging due to poor communication conditions.

The “RJHelical-01,” which will be showcased at “Japan Drone 2026 / Next-Generation Air Mobility EXPO 2026,” is the company’s first helical antenna type. It is capable of receiving L1 and L2 frequencies. By incorporating the u-blox ZED-F9P, it achieves a compact and lightweight design, measuring φ48mm×37.2mm and weighing 30g. This size makes it suitable for integration into drones and other devices.

Product specifications will be made available before the exhibition.
