Enhancing Customer Experience Through Authorized Dealers
The domestic home appliance market has seen increasing diversification in sales channels and greater sophistication and complexity in product functions. This has highlighted the challenge of providing customers with accurate and easy-to-understand explanations at the point of purchase.
In response, Mitsubishi Electric is introducing the “Mitsubishi Home Appliances Authorized Dealer System.” Under this system, regional appliance stores and mass retailers across Japan will be certified as authorized dealers. These certified dealers will handle designated Mitsubishi home appliance products.
Authorized dealers will receive comprehensive information from Mitsubishi Electric regarding product functions, features, and value. This enables them to accurately convey this information to customers, assisting them in selecting products that best meet their needs. Furthermore, the system is designed to enhance after-sales support, including delivery, installation, fault response, and proposals for future replacements, ensuring a more complete customer experience.
Target Products and Dealer Identification
The initial products covered by this system will be specific refrigerator models:
- Refrigerators (2026 French door and 5-door models) will be available sequentially from January 23, 2026.
Authorized dealers will be progressively listed on Mitsubishi Electric’s official website and will display a certification mark in their stores and on their respective websites.
