Razer Unveils Naga V3 Pro: The Evolution of the MMO Gaming Mouse
Razer™, a global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the Razer Naga V3 Pro, the latest model of its iconic MMO gaming mouse. This new iteration is engineered to cater to diverse game genres and playstyles, featuring three interchangeable magnetic side plates, more flexible customization options, and enhanced performance, all while preserving the ergonomic Naga shape favored by players for years.
The Evolution of a Legend
Since its debut in 2009, the Razer Naga has pioneered the possibilities of MMO mice. Its signature 12-button thumb grid has been a hallmark, providing players with instant access to abilities, commands, and macros in popular MMO titles. The Naga V3 Pro continues this legacy, designed for even greater performance and adaptability across more games, setups, and playstyles.
The Naga V3 Pro offers practical upgrades that allow for more flexible mouse customization per game, while retaining the familiar feel for fans. It provides more button options, improved precision, faster wireless performance, and finer control over every input.
Barrie Ooi, Head of Razer’s PC Gaming Division, stated, “For 17 years, Naga has been a pioneer in multi-button gaming. The V3 Pro answers the community’s call for a single mouse to tackle all game genres. We’ve brought back requested buttons and enhanced performance with the latest Razer technology. Furthermore, from interchangeable layouts to a new 48-step scroll mode for more precise ability switching, it offers more granular control than ever before.”
Adaptability for All Genres

The Naga V3 Pro is designed around the concept of adapting a single mouse to any game. Magnetic interchangeable side plates allow users to switch between a 12-button layout for MMOs, a 6-button layout for MOBAs and battle royales, and a 2-button layout suitable for FPS games and daily use. Each side plate can be easily attached and detached in seconds without tools.
Additionally, two quick-access edge buttons for on-the-fly DPI adjustment are located next to the left click. In response to user demand, a lockable ring finger button has been reinstated. This feature, previously omitted in the Naga V2 Pro due to feedback regarding accidental clicks, now returns with a locking mechanism, allowing it to be enabled for intricate operations or disabled when not needed.
The side buttons feature double-shot molded keys to enhance the durability of the characters and symbols, ensuring they last through extended use. Up to five onboard memory profiles can store custom layouts, macros, and DPI settings, enabling players to carry their settings across different PC environments and switch seamlessly between games.
Precision Scrolling

The Razer™ HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2 provides more granular control over scrolling. Standard Tactile mode offers a familiar 24-step notched scroll. Precision Tactile mode enables a finer 48-step control, ideal for switching abilities, weapons, menus, or inventory items. Free-Spin mode allows for faster, smoother scrolling through long documents. Smart-Reel mode automatically switches between Tactile and Free-Spin modes based on scrolling speed. These modes can be adjusted via Razer Synapse.
Unleashed Control

With Razer™ HyperSpeed Wireless, the Naga V3 Pro delivers high-speed and stable wireless performance suitable for competitive gameplay. It boasts a battery life of up to 155 hours with HyperSpeed Wireless connectivity and up to 280 hours with Bluetooth, supporting long raids, marathon sessions, and everyday use. Players can also continue playing while charging via USB Type-C.
The Naga V3 Pro supports multiple charging methods, including the Razer HyperFlux V2 Charging System and the Razer Mouse Dock Pro (both sold separately). This allows players to choose a charging solution that suits their playstyle and environment.
Precision to the Last Click

The Naga V3 Pro is equipped with the Razer™ Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3, ensuring accurate tracking. It supports up to 50,000 DPI, 930 IPS, and 90 G acceleration. Frame Sync synchronizes the sensor’s scanning with the display’s refresh rate, reducing input lag.
Furthermore, Razer™ Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4 offer a durability of over 100 million clicks and a 12% reduction in actuation force. This provides crisp responsiveness and a satisfying click feel for repetitive in-game inputs.
