The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces the mobile industry’s first built-in “Privacy Display,” offering pixel-level privacy protection. This innovative technology controls light diffusion pixel by pixel, limiting visibility from angles exceeding 45 degrees while maintaining clear viewing for the user. It is designed for various daily scenarios like public transport or cafes, providing enhanced privacy without affecting visibility when off.

The Galaxy S26 Series is equipped with the custom processor Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, ensuring all-day performance. The Galaxy S26 Ultra, in particular, achieves its highest performance yet with significant improvements in CPU (up to 19% faster), NPU (39% faster), and GPU (24% faster) compared to its predecessor. The S26 Ultra also supports Super Fast Charging 3.0, allowing up to 75% charge in approximately 30 minutes. ProScaler is available on Samsung Galaxy S26+ and S26 Ultra only.

It is also the first Samsung Galaxy device to support APV, a new professional video standard for high-quality, loss-less video production. Bixby allows natural dialogue for device operation and settings adjustment. The series also supports multiple AI agents, including Gemini and Perplexity, enabling complex tasks to be performed with simple voice commands or button presses, automating multi-step processes across apps.

Samsung has integrated protection features at every level of the Galaxy S26 Series to safeguard personal data and provide transparency. The Galaxy S26 Ultra’s unique Privacy Display offers pixel-level privacy. Advanced software features include AI-powered call screening, which identifies unknown callers and summarizes their purpose for safe communication. “Privacy Alerts” use machine learning to notify users in real-time when apps attempt to access sensitive information. Directly integrated into the gallery, the “Private Album” allows users to hide selected photos and videos without creating separate folders or signing into a Samsung account.
