To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Tamagotchi, the “Tamagotchi nano colorful” series introduces “Mametchi Memories 30th Yellow” and “30th Blue,” priced at 6,600 yen each (tax included, shipping and handling extra). Pre-orders for these commemorative items will begin on April 15, 2026, at 4 PM JST on the Bandai Namco Group’s official online store, “Premium Bandai.”
Product Features
These special editions allow users to raise successive generations of Mametchi characters. The device designs are available in two commemorative colors: “30th Yellow” and “30th Blue.” Players start by raising a Baby, and after it evolves into Mametchi, it will continue to change into different historical Mametchi characters. Care involves the familiar methods of feeding meals and snacks, and occasionally cleaning up after the character.
The mini-games also change depending on the Mametchi character being cared for. Players can enjoy over 20 mini-games that pay homage to various Tamagotchi titles, including “Tamagotchi,” “Cho Jinsei Enjoy! Tamagotchi Plus,” “Tamagotchi iD L,” and “Tamagotchi Uni.” Please note that some mini-games may differ from their original versions, and some original mini-games are also included.
Additionally, other Tamagotchi characters may visit, and Mametchi might be seen playing with various items, depending on the time. When a Mametchi character is fully cared for, a special animation and a message from Mametchi will appear. Users are encouraged to enjoy watching Mametchi’s growth until the end.
What is Tamagotchi nano colorful?
The “Tamagotchi nano colorful” series is an evolution of the “Tamagotchi nano” series, which has released numerous collaboration products with popular characters. This new iteration features a color LCD and is rechargeable. Measuring approximately 4cm in length, this palm-sized Tamagotchi allows characters to be displayed more beautifully and cutely, and the rechargeable function enables longer playtime.
