Design Reflecting the World of “Shumatsu Touring”
The watch’s dial design captures the atmosphere of the world where Yoko and Airi journey. It features a rugged, concrete-like texture, evoking the imagery of ruined cities and static streetscapes.
At the 6 o’clock position, a penguin motif, inspired by Yoko’s hair ornament, is subtly placed. This detail adds a touch of the series’ lightheartedness to the post-apocalyptic landscape depicted on the dial.
Combining Design and Legibility
For enhanced visibility during rides, the watch utilizes bar indexes. The 12 o’clock position features a distinctive navigation marker-inspired shape, allowing riders to quickly orient themselves.
The second hand is adorned with the “Touringram” logo, a symbol of “Shumatsu Touring,” subtly integrating the anime’s essence into the functional design.
Inner Ring for Travel Support
The inner ring incorporates a compass with visuals of Yoko and Airi. This feature allows users to determine direction based on the sun’s position and current time, proving useful in areas with few landmarks, as well as during camping and other outdoor activities.
This practical analog watch mechanism offers both aesthetic appeal and utility for quick checks during rides or breaks.
Limited Edition Engraved Case Back
The case back features an engraving of the rabbit accessory worn by Airi. Additionally, each watch is individually engraved with a unique serial number (e.g., 001/0405 to 405/0405), signifying its limited production of 405 units, a number associated with Yoko.
