The ROG XREAL R1 supports a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz and a 0.01ms response time. This ensures smooth video display with minimal afterimages and input lag, which is critical for games where split-second reactions determine victory, such as FPS, racing, and RTS titles. The Motion-to-Photon Latency is 3ms, enhancing the sense of unity between visuals and actions.

Wide 57° Field of View and a Virtual Screen up to 428 Inches

This product can display a virtual screen equivalent to 428 inches at a distance of 10m (or 171 inches at 4m). With a 57° FOV, it covers approximately 95% of the visual focus area, offering an immersive sensation akin to having a large display directly in front of the user. It is suitable for both gaming and entertainment experiences like watching movies and videos.

Native 3DoF Support for Tracking and Spatial Fixed Modes

Supporting native 3DoF, the device allows users to switch between a spatial fixed mode, where the image is anchored in space, and a tracking mode, where it follows the user’s gaze. In spatial fixed mode, the virtual screen’s position remains stable even when the body moves, enabling a natural posture for large-screen gaming.

3-Stage Electrochromic Dimming and Auto-Transparency Function

The lenses feature a 3-stage electrochromic dimming function. This allows for comfortable visibility by adjusting transparency according to ambient brightness in various environments such as indoors, cafes, or bright outdoor settings. It also supports an auto-transparency function, which increases transparency when the user looks away and automatically darkens to enhance immersion when they look back.

High-Quality Audio by Bose

High-fidelity sound tuned by Bose is integrated, reproducing subtle details like distant footsteps and environmental sounds for clear in-game audio information. The spatial sound enhances gaming immersion not only visually but also audibly.

Seamless Integration with ROG Ally and Broad Connectivity

The ROG XREAL R1 connects via USB Type-C with DisplayPort Alternate Mode, transmitting video, audio, and power with a single cable. It supports plug-and-play connection with ROG Ally, bringing a new immersive dual-screen experience to portable gaming environments.
