About “My Home Appliance Diagnosis”
“My Home Appliance Diagnosis” is available to users of Hitachi’s connected refrigerators (excluding models R-KC11R, R-KX57K) and connected washing machines (excluding model BD-NX120C). This service offers a free and easy way to diagnose appliance symptoms using the product’s operation data. It’s important to note that the operation data used for diagnosis does not include recent data (e.g., same-day data), so the diagnosis result may differ from the appliance’s current state.
A new feature has been added for some refrigerator models, which analyzes past operation data to determine the appliance’s status as “Normal,” “Caution,” or “Malfunction,” and provides relevant advice. If necessary, customers can also apply for repair services directly from the diagnosis screen. For models that cannot provide a “Normal/Caution/Malfunction” determination, advice will be displayed based on operation data. Immediate diagnosis may not be possible if insufficient data is available, such as shortly after pairing.
This expansion of diagnosable symptoms and the inclusion of historical data analysis are intended to help identify the causes of malfunctions, reduce customer anxiety, and facilitate smoother problem resolution.
