AITalk® micro Adopted in Panasonic’s AI-Equipped Video Intercoms
AI Co., Ltd. announces that its high-quality voice synthesis engine, “AITalk® micro,” has been adopted by Panasonic Corporation for its new AI-equipped wireless monitor video intercom series, launched in June. AITalk micro is utilized to read out the results of AI face authentication, providing enhanced security and convenience.
Overview of Panasonic’s AI-Equipped Wireless Monitor Video Intercoms
The video intercom series developed and released by Panasonic features an “AI Face Authentication” function that automatically responds to visitors by recognizing their faces. Users can pre-register up to 30 sets of face information.
When the camera door station performs face authentication based on the registered data, the indoor monitor unit reads out the name of the registered visitor. This allows residents to identify who is at the door without needing to look at the screen, eliminating the need to constantly check the monitor. Furthermore, for unregistered visitors, the system can automatically respond by reading out a message asking for their name and purpose, removing the necessity for direct communication with unfamiliar individuals. This cutting-edge AI technology supports the convenience and safety of residents.
The specific models of AI face authentication-equipped doorphones currently available are VL-X70AHF and VL-X70AHS.
