Key Features of the New Big Drum Series

1. “[Garment Longevity] High-Concentration Washing”

The new models incorporate a newly developed “[Garment Longevity] High-Concentration Washing” feature. This technology maintains the powerful cleaning performance that removes even hidden dirt, while simultaneously suppressing fabric damage such as fading and pilling. This innovation responds to the growing consumer interest in sustainable fashion and the desire to wear clothes for longer periods, by evolving Hitachi’s high-concentration detergent liquid washing control.

2. Enhanced “Rakumainte” (Easy Maintenance) with New Lint Filter

The “Rakumainte” feature, which simplifies the upkeep required after each drying cycle, has been further improved. The large-capacity lint filter now features a slit-shaped collection area and an open-tip structure, making it even easier to remove dust and lint.

3. Advanced Vibration Control with “3-axis Gyro Sensor”

Spin control has been further refined through the use of a “3-axis gyro sensor.” This sensor estimates the imbalance of laundry during the spin cycle, allowing for better vibration suppression and contributing to a more comfortable washing experience.

4. Dark Gray Color Option for Flagship Model

Building on the popularity of the dark gray color in the 2025 BD-SX130M model, this option is now extended to the flagship BD-STX130P. This provides consumers with more choices and caters to a wider range of preferences, offering a cohesive design that harmonizes with various interior styles, from grayish to white-themed spaces.

5. “My Home Appliance Diagnosis” via “Happiness Up” App (BD-STX130P, SX130P)

The BD-STX130P and SX130P models are compatible with “My Home Appliance Diagnosis” through the “Happiness Up” household support app. This feature allows users to check insights and receive improvement suggestions based on their usage patterns directly through the app, supporting a convenient and long-lasting washing experience. (Registration for the Hitachi Home Appliance Members Club is required to use “Happiness Up”.)
