Development Background
The origin of the ACM Wallet stems from the personal experience of ACM CEO James Allen. He sought to create a wallet that could carry cards without damage and allow instant access to any specific card. This led to the development of the original ACM Wallet, followed by the lighter and smaller ACM Wallet 2.0. The ACM Wallet 3.0 is the result of 25 years of continuous development, born from a developer’s persistent pursuit of the simple challenge of “how to carry cards.”
Key Features of ACM Wallet 3.0
1. Independent Storage for 6 Cards, 1-Second Access
Up to six cards are stored in separate, independent holders. Sliding the selector on the wallet’s surface provides quick access to the desired card. This unique structure aims to reduce the effort of searching for cards, ensuring “the right card, right when you need it.” Cards are also designed not to fall out unless partially removed.
2. Prevents Scratches and Dirt
An approximate 1mm gap is maintained between cards, preventing direct contact. This design reduces the risk of scratches, dirt, and magnetic damage.
3. ADC12 Aluminum Die-Cast, Assembled in Arizona
The wallet’s body is made from ADC12 aluminum die-cast, processed to achieve both durability and lightness. Each unit is assembled by hand in ACM’s workshop in Arizona, USA.
4. Lightweight Design (Approx. 89g) with Detachable Money Clip
Weighing approximately 89g when empty, the wallet features a compact design that fits easily into pockets. A detachable money clip on the back can hold about 10-15 folded bills. The money clip can also be removed for a more minimalist card-only style.
5. RFID Skimming Prevention
The wallet incorporates a shield structure to prevent unauthorized reading of contactless card information, offering protection against RFID skimming.
Two Finishes: “Trophy” and “Stealth”
ACM Wallet 3.0 is available in two distinct models.
1. Trophy
This model features a silver color that highlights the natural texture of aluminum. It undergoes a polishing process by artisans, resulting in a finish that beautifully reflects light. It is designed with attention to both functionality and material aesthetics.
2. Stealth
This model features a matte black coating applied to machined aluminum. It combines a subdued, calm texture with the robust presence of aluminum, making it suitable for a wide range of settings, from business to private.
