Two models are available to suit various needs: a 5,000mAh model and a 3,000mAh model. The 5,000mAh model boasts a thickness of approximately 8.5mm, while the 3,000mAh model is even thinner at approximately 6.2mm, making it slimmer than the iPhone 17. Their sleek designs ensure that smartphone operability is not compromised during charging, and they are highly portable.

Cable-Free Charging with Magnetic Attachment

The batteries attach magnetically to the back of a smartphone, enabling cable-free charging. They are compatible with MagSafe-enabled cases and are designed to be a convenient size that does not protrude excessively from the iPhone when attached. A strong magnet ensures the battery stays securely in place, even when shaken. These features apply to MagSafe-compatible iPhones released as of May 2026, excluding iPhone 16e, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13 mini.

5,000mAh Model: Qi2 Support and Thermal Select

The 5,000mAh model, with its approximate 8.5mm thickness and 120g weight, supports Qi2 for up to 15W wireless charging when magnetically attached to Qi2 or MagSafe-compatible iPhones and smartphones. This model also features a USB Type-C port that supports USB Power Delivery with a maximum output of 20W, allowing for both wireless and wired charging. When using both simultaneously, the total maximum output is 15W. The battery capacity of 5,000mAh can charge a smartphone with a 1,800mAh battery approximately 1.6 times.

A notable new feature is “Thermal Select,” which allows users to switch to a Low Mode by long-pressing the power button if the unit feels hot, helping to suppress temperature increases during charging. This model is also compatible with charging Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch Lite.

3,000mAh Model: Ultra-Slim Design

The 3,000mAh model is designed to be exceptionally thin at approximately 6.2mm and weighs about 85g, making it even thinner than the iPhone 17. It magnetically attaches to MagSafe-compatible iPhones for up to 7.5W wireless charging. Additionally, it features a USB Type-C port that supports up to 10W wired charging. When both charging methods are used simultaneously, the total maximum output is 10W. With a 3,000mAh capacity, this model can charge a smartphone with a 1,800mAh battery approximately 0.9 times.

Enhanced Safety Features

Both models incorporate robust safety features, including “Thermal Protection” to monitor and control temperature during power supply, foreign object detection, and multiple protection mechanisms that automatically stop operation upon detecting abnormalities. They support “simultaneous charging” (pass-through charging), allowing both the battery and the smartphone to be charged at the same time, which helps to mitigate battery degradation. These lithium-ion batteries have a watt-hour rating of 160Wh or less, permitting up to two units to be carried onto an aircraft. The internal rechargeable lithium-ion batteries comply with JIS C 62133-2:2020 and JIS C 8715-2:2024, and the products meet Japan’s Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act (PSE) technical standards.

These products are certified under Elecom’s “THINK ECOLOGY” initiative, meeting at least one of the company’s environmental certification standards. This includes using over 10% recycled materials in main components, sustainable forest resources for packaging, transport-efficient outer box designs, and packaging composed solely of paper, cardboard, and polybags, while also reducing plastic weight in packaging by over 20% compared to internal standards.
